The service department teammate I dealt with during my most recent experience has been defensive and rude. When I first brought my car in to get it inspected and to have some recall work done on it and she was checking me in, she did not smile, she was impatient, and gave me the impression she would rather be doing anything other than helping me with my car. And there was none else waiting, they were not busy that morning at all.. And my car my has had literally thousands and thousands of dollars of work done on it at this facility over the past couple of years. You would think a life time Ford customer, or any customer, would be treated like a customer that was valuable to the dealership vs. being treated like a nuisance. I just called in to advise the service department that I was charged for an inspection but that the state had no record of it. She said they would try to rectify it but spent most of the time advising me why I should not expect a positive result and it was not their fault and if I needed another inspection I would have to pay for it. $25. By the way including the work they just did and this inspection I just spent another $1600+ at their facility. After having an engine rebuilt there, and then a full crate engine replacement installed there a few short months later, on the same car, within the last couple of years…. Thousands and thousand of $’s of revenue for this dealership. And I am going to potentially get nickel and dimed for a $25 inspection? This is the antithesis of customer service and customer retention training. You need to do better either at training, or recruiting, or leading. More
