I had the best experience I have ever had at a dealership. As a woman, I have had not so great experiences in dealerships with people trying to take advantage of me. I didn’t experience anything dealership. As a woman, I have had not so great experiences in dealerships with people trying to take advantage of me. I didn’t experience anything like that at Rockwell Dodge Jeep. They make the process so easy and convenient for the buyer. It was as if I was their only customer because they catered to me, it didn’t seem to be about getting another sell. James was very courteous and knowledgeable about the Jeep Grand Cherokee. The person at the customer service desk was also very helpful, she took care of canceling and getting a new toll tag for my car. Great all around customer service!! I wish I didn’t live in McKinney because based on the professionalism of the sales team I would also take my car there for service. Most importantly I got a great deal and and a good price for my trade-in. More
I took my truck in to address an issue with the tailgate mechanism that occasionally fails to secure it properly or comes open in transit. I also requested an oil change and tire rotation. I was told that I mechanism that occasionally fails to secure it properly or comes open in transit. I also requested an oil change and tire rotation. I was told that I needed to leave it at the dealership and that it would be up to four days before it would be seen. Keep in mind that I had an appointment to get it repaired. I dropped my truck off at noon on Monday. On Thursday at around 4:00 pm, I called to check the status of the repair. I was told by my service person that he was taking care of a customer, but he would call me back. That never happened. I called back on Friday morning and the service person told me that the oil change and tire rotation had been completed but the technician was unable to duplicate the issue that I described. Being unable to duplicate an issue does not, in my opinion, let a dealership off the hook for a safety issue that allows a tailgate to open while driving down the road. A better way to problem solve the issue would be to say, “If the tailgate either won’t latch or unlatches while driving, what could be the possible causes?” and check those possibilities. I have no faith in a dealership that uses the excuse that the technician couldn’t duplicate the issue. I was never given a logical reason as why my truck had to be there for days before it was serviced. More
