Excessive “Admin Fees” Agreed to pay full advertised price on used car. When we went to do the paperwork, Brogden added a never before discussed $500 admin fee. Asked to have it removed or reduced, (per Consumer Reports, $150-300 is customary and anything above is excessive). Salesperson, who forgot to mention the fee in initial discussions agreed to lowering cost of vehicle by $200. Sales Manager, Aaron Spearman, refused. This after we’d agreed on price, paid to have the car checked out and came to the dealership with financing in hand. There’s nothing worth $500 Brogden would have to do to close this deal. Their admin fee is excessive and Aaron Spearman knows nothing about customer service. We’ll never do business with him or Brogden. More

False Advertisement Last week I found a 2017 Sierra SLT on Robert Brogden’s website marked down $13,000. I called and talked to a salesman about the truck. He said they Last week I found a 2017 Sierra SLT on Robert Brogden’s website marked down $13,000. I called and talked to a salesman about the truck. He said they had several and we set an appointment for that afternoon. When I arrived no one could find the truck. He took me for a test drive in a like truck while they got the one I wanted ready. When we got back I was informed the truck had sold. I ask about them having several like it and was told only the one was discounted. Two days later I found a truck on their website discounted $20,612. It was a $56,750 truck with a sale price of $36,138. I called and talked to the Internet Sales Manager and was told that price was wrong. He said someone must have entered the discount wrong. I talked to four people at the dealership and everyone said the price was wrong and there was nothing they could do about it. Yesterday I looked on their website to see it they were still doing the ole Bait and Switch. I found a truck listed for $52,340 with a sale price of $6. I did waste my time calling on this one. The price could get entered wrong once but to keep doing it is False Advertisement. I have saved screen shots of all of these listing and have reported this to GMC. I have bought from Robert Brogden in the past but I don’t trust to ever buy from them again. More

Do not trust the used car department!! I purchased a used 2013 Yukon Denali 2/25/17, this is the 3rd vehicle ( 2016 Sierra Z71 and 2012 Acadial AWD) we have purchased from Brogden in the la I purchased a used 2013 Yukon Denali 2/25/17, this is the 3rd vehicle ( 2016 Sierra Z71 and 2012 Acadial AWD) we have purchased from Brogden in the last 4 years and have spent almost $150,000.00 with them. We purchase a new vehicle every 3 to 4 years for my wife to drive. During the negotiation the used car manager agreed to repair the winshield that had a large chip. I was also told that this vehicle was a GM certified used vehicle and was inspected by their shop and any deficiencies were taken care of but I should have known better with the windshield chip. We left the dealers lot at closing time, I followed my wife home and the first thing I noticed was the right side brake light was out along with one of the right side tail lights. It was cloudy when I test drove the vehicle and did not see how bad the windshield really was until the next day when the sun hit the chips which were numerous. I called the dealer to let them know it needed a new windshield because the winshield was dangerous because the chips caused a glare from the sun and on coming headlights at night. They said they would get back to me and a few days later the salesman said the used car manager was no help but he would pay for half the cost out of his pocket. I told him not only was that not right but asked him to remind the management that we were repeat customers and wanted the winshield replaced by the dealership. He said he would do what he could and said he thought his General Manager would see it was taken care of but he would need until the end of Saturday to get back to me and asked me not to get it replaced before then. I have not heard back from them and it is Tuesday. We will no longer be buying our vehicles from a dealer that will not spend $240.00 for a repeat customer. The actual cost would even be less since they already agreed to the cost of the chip repairs. I have scheduled the Yukon for Thurday to have my windshield replaced at Safelite and will pay for it myself as safety has no price. I will also be looking into what GM calls a "GM Certified Used Car" because I can't believe they would allow a dealer to call them "GM Certified" with these issues. I will also be having everything inspected to see what else was not repaired so I know I have a safe vehicle. More
