Buick Encore My experience with Robert Brogden started out wonderful! I was referred there by a dear friend and my fiancés father. I test drove a Buick Encore and My experience with Robert Brogden started out wonderful! I was referred there by a dear friend and my fiancés father. I test drove a Buick Encore and they told me all about it and the features and what not. Bob did a wonderful job with explaining things and getting everything together for me. Backstory I purchased a new 2018 Buick Encore on 4/20 I was initially told that the car was on its way to the dealership and would arrive in 1-2 days. After signing the paperwork and paying my down payment I was told it would be next week on Thursday or Friday. I asked what I was supposed to do with my trade in and they said I would keep driving it until the new car came in. I came in the following Monday on April 23rd to finish the paperwork and was told the vehicle would arrive that Friday or Saturday the 23rd or 24th. My father called April 27th around 10:30 to 11:00 am to find out who the finance company was so they we could finalize purchase of car insurance. We have not received any copies of financial/contract paperwork. After being transferred several times nobody was able to answer his questions and he ended up leaving a voicemail requesting a return phone call from Bob Myers. 6 hours later he had not received a response from anyone and then again called. At this time I believe a woman named Linda was able to provided the loan provider name. My father also asked if the car had arrived or if it would arrive on Saturday, April 28th? At this time Linda spoke to the General Manger. The response was that “there is a delay and the car will not arrive until next Tuesday or Thursday”. April 27th my fiancé called and spoke with someone to ask questions about the car (where it was shipping from and reason for the EXTENDED delays). They told him the car had shipped from Michigan and would be at your dealership next week. Whomever he spoke with rudely hung on him. Sadly at this point I’m highly disappointed. As it stood I was still driving my trade in after paying a down payment and signing all required documents. I have already received emails congratulating me on my new purchase and asking how I like my new vehicle. Also my free trial for SiriusXM has been activated. The vechicle had finally arrived on a Tuesday and I was asked when I could pick it up. So I asked if they had put the special coating on it that I had purchased and they said “Oh we didn’t know you purchased that I’ll see if I can get it in right away.” Well they couldn’t get it done that day because they were so busy and the following day Wednesday it was finally done in the afternoon. They delivered my car to my workplace and brought the paperwork. It was a very bumpy road but I love my car and am glad to have it. Hopefully next time they will have their stuff more put together. If your purchasing a vechicle that it already on site you shouldn’t have an issue. (I emailed the general manager during this experience about How the dates that I would get my car kept changing. All he said around 24 hours later was did my team reach out to you?) More
