Not Great To Whom It May Concern, I can honestly say that my Oil Change was not great at all. I have gotten my oil changed there at Robert Brogden since I To Whom It May Concern, I can honestly say that my Oil Change was not great at all. I have gotten my oil changed there at Robert Brogden since I purchased my truck there almost 2 years ago brand new. I just learned at my last oil change that I should be getting free oil changes up to 60,000 miles. I should not have had to pay for any of my oil changes but I have. The first couple of oil changes I did not pay for because I thought the gentleman that I purchased my truck from was being nice and gave me a couple of complementary ones, but there have been Oil Changes that I have purchased and my mileage is just now over 42,000. When I asked the gentleman about the oil changes that I did purchase he said there was nothing that could be done. At my oil change today I asked the gentleman if he seen where I receive the free oil changes and he said yes up to 60,000 miles. The gentleman proceeded to tell me that he was going to go ahead and give me the 45,000 mile tune up since I was in there.(I didn't ask for it, he told me he was going to do it) I did not know there was a difference but when he printed out my paperwork it showed me everything that would be done and there was $0 next to all of them. As we were talking about the weather etc. I seen him write in dollar amounts next to everything that was going to be done to my truck. I never got the explanation of any of the dollar amounts but he asked me if I was staying until it was done. I scheduled my appointment at 7a.m. this morning because when I get my oil change it usually takes about an hour and I have to be at work at 8:30. The gentleman told me that because of the extra things that had to be done it would be about 2 hours and did I need a ride to work. I asked if someone could go ahead and drop me off but I would have my husband drive me back. When I was done talking to the gentleman, I called my husband who works on cars also in his free time to tell him what was going on and if he could pick me up at work and take me to pick up the truck when it was finished? My husband asked how much it was going to cost me? I told him nothing because it printed up on my sheet $0 and I never got an explanation of what he was writing in but I assumed he was showing me what it would have cost if I didn't have the policy that my free oil changes are covered under. Everything printed up right under my oil change information that was free, why would I think there was a charge? I didn't think you could just pencil in numbers that weren't there and then expect someone to pay for it. My husband told me there was no way it would be $0 and that I should go ask to make sure. When I asked the gentleman he said oh yes there is a charge and it was almost $1,000.00. Do you know what would have happened if my husband had not told me to go back and ask? Do you think people just have a $1,000.00 sitting in their checking or savings account that they don't need? There is no way this should ever happen to anyone ever. I told the gentleman to please just do the oil change and I will have my husband deal with the other things that need to be done. They took my truck back a little after 7 and about 8:15 or so the gentleman comes out and tells me my truck is finished but it stuck up in the air on your lift and they are having problems getting it down. Mind you have to be at work at 8:30 and it is 8:15. After they finally got my truck off the lift and got to put the oil back in my truck and reset my tire pressures I left your facility at 8:45. I am not happy at all and I will probably not be back, it's not worth it. Your employees need to tell someone when there are extra costs not wait until the bill comes and hope they have the money. I paid over $60,000 at your facility for my truck and I will never do it again. Sincerely, Stephanie Ward More
