Used Passat TDI purchase I worked with Jeff Alstatt for my visit. I knew what I wanted to look at and he had both cars ready when I got there. Not pleased at all! I am totally disappointed in GMC Corp. and Robert Brogden Buick GMC. When I purchased my 2015 Yukon, I also purchased an extended warranty that was h I am totally disappointed in GMC Corp. and Robert Brogden Buick GMC. When I purchased my 2015 Yukon, I also purchased an extended warranty that was hyped as a 7 year/75,000 mile bumper-to-bumper for almost $4,000.00. The vehicle came form the factory with running boards installed. No one has every gotten into the rear passenger seat in this vehicle until my wife was trying to get in this July. When she put her foot on the running board, it sagged down at the back and she was lucky that she did not fall because of it. I took the vehicle to Robert Brogden and a technician looked under the running board an found that the rear bracket was missing and that it appeared that it had never been installed. I enquired about putting a new bracket on and was told that the bracket was not replaceable because it was a part of the running board, that the entire running board would have to be replaced. When I told the service writer that it was under the 7 yr/75k bumper-to-bumper, I was informed that the warranty would not cover it because it was "trim" and trim is not covered under the warranty and that the warranty was no bumper-to-bumper anyway. I am disabled and I purchased this vehicle because it has the safety features I need and because I am able to get in and out of the door opening. I purchased it as the last new vehicle I would probably ever purchase, so I wanted a reliable vehicle and since I would be keeping the vehicle for a long time I was very specific when I asked about the extended warranty and was assured that it was bumper-to-bumper and would cover everything for 7 years or 75,000 miles, which every came first. I have been a devoted GM customer for most of my adult life, having purchased several new GM vehicles, and I have always taken those vehicles back to the dealership for service and maintenance so to say that I was extremely disappointed is an understatement. I was quoted a price of $650.00 for the running board plus labor to install it. The running board had to be repaired so I inquired if I could check to see if I could purchase it and bring it to the dealership for installation. I was told that I could do that and the installation charge would be about $80,00. I purchased the running board from GM Parts online and when I received it, I took it to the dealership for installation. When I was presented with the bill after installation, the charge was $100.00 plus a charge of over $15.00 for misc. More
