University Dodge met most of my needs in that it had a variety of used cars from which to choose. The service for the car was very good. I especially liked my salesman. He was very apologetic and worked diligently to locate the keys. Jose was very engaging and explained everything for the finance side in clear detail. My son and I are very happy with a the professional demeanor of Tomas and Jose. The process took longer than normal, but neither of the staff that we worked with were responsible for the time delay. Overall we are very happy with our interactions with the staff that we came in contact with. More
The purchase was easy thanks to James the salesman. He was up front concerning the vehicle. I found a problem after delivery of the vehicle, that problem was resolved. I found another issue after taking the Wagoneer home. The small mirror on the side view mirror on the passenger side has a crack. Hopefully. I can get that resolved as well. More

Worst of the worst with customer service. So bad, that I had already started the purchase on a $78k Dodge, and walked out of this dealership. The visit went from very bad to even worst. It st So bad, that I had already started the purchase on a $78k Dodge, and walked out of this dealership. The visit went from very bad to even worst. It started out with a salesman named Lou (Lou Gomez?) - whose first words to me when I asked him some questions were "I am much smarter than you. People don't realize how smart I am, so you need to be quiet and listen to what I say only, because I am much smarter than you." I was keen on buying a vehicle that day, and actually went and got another salesman, James, to start helping me. I finally found a 2024 Ram 2500 Power Wagon that I decided to purchase. I had 50% down payment in hand, all was going good, when a salesman at the desk next to us started to SCAM a customer that he was selling a car to. First off, this salesman was extremely loud, so everyone heard his scamming going on, and no one should be treated like this customer was being treated. The salesman was explaining to the customer that he had to pay like a thousand+ extra for some stickers and VIN etching in what is a Pre-Installed Extras Scam. This dealership also uses vehicle addendum stickers which they make look like the real Monroney Sticker that is required to be on the vehicle. This dealership thinks they are slick. The salesman was explaining that the stickers and etching can be seen by ultra violet light and that law enforcement uses them all the time to recover vehicles. My salesman had also tried to pull the same thing - however when he found out I am active law enforcement and have been for 25 years, he admitted it was just a money making scam because, as i told him a cop in the field carries an ultra violet light NEVER. Just for info - these alleged ultraviolet etchings and additional protection stickers they apply cost the dealership approximately $20 total; so it is all profit. Well, i said to the other customer that the salesman was lying, law enforcement NEVER carries ultraviolet lights and do not look for stickers on door frames every time they stop a vehicle. The salesman than stood up, walked over to me, took a very offensive stance like he wanted to fight, and yelled at me that I needed to shut up and didn't need to buy a car from the dealership. After I explained to the salesman that he just needed to be truthful about the pre-installed package and that he shouldn't be making false claims that it was a law enforcement backed package - the salesman then said that i was banned from the dealership and needed to leave that moment. I really felt bad for "James" who was in the midst of completing a $78k sale with me, and I could see he was getting visibly upset at this other loud-mouthed rude salesman. But, since he wanted me out - I grabbed my stuff, left, and actually proceeded to drive about 20 minutes away to what turned out to be a much better dealership in Aventura, asked them if they had a comparable vehicle, and bought it on the spot. Thank you University Dodge for spending all day letting me do test drives, explaining all the vehicle features for me, letting me know what the finance numbers would look like, and showing me different options I could have... It made it sooooooooo much quicker and easier when I went to the other dealership to actually buy a vehicle because you didn't want my business. Good luck with your salesman who rather scam customers than make an honest buck. I hope this is all on video too in case anyone ever wants to come to your dealership and confirm how rude the salesman are.
