Why the lies? I saw an online ad for an HRV EX for $22700 at riverside Honda. They had the vehicle but said the price online didn’t include the dealer accessories t I saw an online ad for an HRV EX for $22700 at riverside Honda. They had the vehicle but said the price online didn’t include the dealer accessories that were already installed (theft patrol, protection package, clear shield, fabric protector). I was told by the sales guy, James and by the guy In charge of the website that there was NO possibility of getting any HRV without these because they were already installed. I decided to buy anyway. , At the finance office I was told i was getting a “due bill” meaning. I’d have to come backto have these things installed AND that the price we negotiated (with the understanding that these accessories were included)) actually only included the fabric protector. Once I balked at that, they added back 2 of the items but left off the ‘protection package’. The sales guy spent 10 minutes trying to convince me that the $500 protection package consisted of only the trunk liner, which he’d already put in the car. . Eventually ha also included all weather floor mats.. but I’m pretty sure there was more to the protection package. Got an appt for 3 weeks later to have the clear shield, theft patrol and the fabric protection done. They tried to send me off without the theft patrol. If I hadn’t asked about it... they would have let me think it was done. now I have to make another appointment to get the theft patrol installed. 3+ weeks, 3 visits to get these things that we supposed to be already installed and couldn’t be excluded. I don’t feel like I got a bad deal overall, but all these lies leave a bad taste. I won’t be buying any more cars from them or recommending them to any friends or family. More
