Don’t expect any customer service!! I have a 2018 Expedition. I use Riversides quick lane for all my oil changes and they do a great job. The main service center, however is worthless! I have a 2018 Expedition. I use Riversides quick lane for all my oil changes and they do a great job. The main service center, however is worthless! This morning my vehicle would not go into gear. It had a message “Drive mode selection reduced due to system fault”. I called twice during the day. They said someone would call back but they NEVER did!! Thank goodness it fixed itself (for now). Don’t need “customer no service “!! I’ll find someone else!! More

Saw a car that I was going to purchase but could not visit the dealership for another week since I am coming from out of state. I told Rodney the earliest I would be able to come up and sign paperwork was a week from Friday and I asked him if I could leave a deposit on the vehicle. I asked him both on Saturday morning and Monday morning and he told me no. He then texted me Monday night and told me that someone else had placed a deposit on the vehicle and would pick it up Thursday. He was very nice and answered my questions during our initial phone call but was very difficult to communicate with thereafter. He told me several instances that he would call me concerning my questions but he would text me short responses and then tell me he’s “gotta go.” I also had to ask him several times for him to send me the estimate of the final price. The car I was interested in had an issue with the leather in the driver’s seat. I asked him if he would be able to fix the seat before Friday and he told me he would look into getting it fixed only if i was interested in buying it. Disappointed in the lack of customer service. He is the reason why we purchased a 2009 Mazda CX-7. He also worked on our behalf for payments and just overall experience. Ray was straight forward in finance and gave us all of our options. This place was so much better than other dealerships we've been to. Service has been good to us too. Check engine light came on and they sent our car over to Mazda and gave us a loaner car to drive. Once again, awesome experience! I would recommend Riverside Ford and Richard to anyone! More
Beware--Service Dept is just out for your money! I brought my truck into Riverside Ford on Monday 12/28/15 because the Parking Brake light kept coming on while I was driving and the driver side back I brought my truck into Riverside Ford on Monday 12/28/15 because the Parking Brake light kept coming on while I was driving and the driver side back tire started smoking at the same time. I told the Service Rep that I dropped the truck off with, Daniel, to fix whatever was wrong with it. I picked it up on Tuesday 12/29/15 and paid them almost 1300 dollars. When I picked my truck up, the Service Engine light was on, and it was NOT on when I dropped the truck off to them. Someone hooked a computer up and decided that it was on because the mechanic, Matt, “forgot to plug something back in under the hood when he replaced a belt”. On Thursday 12/31/14 the Parking Brake light came on again while I was on the way home from work. I carried the truck back on Monday 1/4/16, and told Daniel that the Parking Brake light was still blinking while I was driving down the road. I also specifically told him that I DID NOT want the mechanic who did the initial work, Matt, doing the work again because it seemed to me that he either did not know what the problem was, how to fix it, or both. I received a call from Daniel about mid-day on Monday 1/4/16 and was told that the problem was in the Master Cylinder, and that they wanted another 500 dollars to fix the problem. I told him that was not acceptable and that I wanted to talk to his supervisor. He then told me that his supervisor, Keith, had agreed to knock 10%; 50 dollars off the cost. I told him that still was not acceptable and that I would come down there to talk to his supervisor myself. When I got there Keith then told me he would only charge me the 216 dollars that the part cost and would waive the labor cost. I agreed to that, and told them to fix it. I did not hear anything from them on Tuesday 1/5/16, so I called about 8 am Wednesday morning to ask if my truck was ready to pick up. Daniel then told me that her was going to check and would call me right back. Well, by 10 am I had not heard from him, so I called him again, and he said that my truck should be ready by 5 pm on Wednesday 1/6/16. When he called me on Wednesday he told me that they had replaced the Master Cylinder, but that it did not fix the problem. He then said he was going to have his best mechanic, Daniel, look at it first thing Thursday morning. He also said that he and Keith were just "going to let me have the Master Cylinder and the labor to put it on for free." (Well, DUH, who is going to pay them 500 dollars for a new part when there was nothing wrong with the old one!!!) I did not hear anything Thursday morning, so I stopped by about noon, and was told that Daniel had it out on a test drive, and that he would let me know something as soon as Daniel got back and told him what was wrong. I then asked the Service Rep Daniel who replaced the Master Cylinder, and he said that the initial mechanic, Matt had done it. Well, I stopped back by again at 3 pm because I had not heard anything yet, and talked to the mechanic Daniel myself. He said that he thought that he had the issue resolved, and that something was loose and/or bent, and nothing had to be replaced. The Service Rep, Daniel, told me that it was going to be a “cheap fix” this time. Well, I told him that you can’t get much cheaper than free, and that I had already decided that I was not going to pay them anything, especially since the mechanic Daniel had already told me that he did not have to replace anything. He then went and got his supervisor, Keith. Keith said that he was not going to charge anything for the Master Cylinder work, but that I owed 150 dollars for Thursday’s work. Well, I told him that I did not intend to pay either of them anything for the following reasons: 1. I had already paid them 1300 dollars the previous week to fix the issues that I brought the truck to them about, and all of the problems were not fixed, 2. I SPECIFICALLY told the Service Rep Daniel that I DID NOT want Matt working on my truck anymore, and not only did they let him do it, but he replaced a Master Cylinder (500 dollars worth of work according to Daniel) that did not need replacing. (I bet the next time a customer asks them to use a different mechanic the second go round they will listen) 3. They had my truck almost the whole week, and that I have had to miss work as a result of it 4. There was still NO guarantee that the problem was resolved, not to mention the fact that nothing was actually replaced the third time the truck was worked on Well, Keith then proposed that we call it even, and that if the problem happened again that I not return the truck to them. I said that I could live with that. Well, I did not even make it home before the Parking Brake light was coming on and going off again! So with that being said, I have a hard time understanding how I could owe 150 dollars for work on 1/7/16 when the issue was not fixed. They worked on it not once, not twice, but THREE times and STILL were unable to fix the issue, and also seemed to think that I was going to pay them an additional 650 dollars between the Master Cylinder and the work on 1/7/16 and the problem was still not fixed. What would have been next, a new transmission, maybe a new engine to see if that fixed the problem? *****I would not recommend this place to anyone, all they want to do is charge you a lot of money, and not fix anything*** More

Each time they assured me that they had fixed it and it would cause no more problems. After the motor messed up because of this SAME problem, they treated me as if I was their worst enemy. Steve Bazemore assured me that he would look into it while he was looking at me face to face and then avoided my calls and inquiries for weeks at the time. This is a typical car dealership. They will tell you what you want to hear as long as it benefits them. Once it is up to them to do their part, you are on your own. I tell everyone I can about this so they don t get the chance to do it to someone else. Stay away! More

Service manager Kieth worst ever!!! I visited Riverside Fords service department and this by far was the worst experience that my wife and I have ever had at a repair facility. The check I visited Riverside Fords service department and this by far was the worst experience that my wife and I have ever had at a repair facility. The check engine light came on so I pulled into the dealerships service department and informed the service advisor that the truck was running good just that the light came on. Without looking at my truck he told me a spark plug had blew out and it would cost me $3500.00 I ask how could he know this without even looking at my truck. We talked for several minutes and that's when the so called service manager Keith came out of his office with his smart xxx comments that his men know everything about a Ford they didn't need to have a tech look at it. This is when I walked to my truck got in and drove away. I drove down the road to a Firestone tire center ask the advisor if they could inspect my truck they checked it out within a few minutes. Advisor came out and told me that a plug boot had came off they reinstalled it and turned off the engine light and charged me $35.00. Riverside Ford tried to rip me off I know that all they would have done was install the boot and charged me $3500.00 I will never go back and I'm hoping everyone that reads this won't. More
