My purchase experience with Rivard was unreal. I have never had a more pleasant experience with any other dealership. We took care of everything online and over the phone. When I arrived everything was ready and 20 minutes later I was already driving away. Their price cannot be beaten. I flew from south Florida to Tampa, just because everything else was so easy. I would not recommend this dealership! ! We are from out of town (4 hours away) and recently purchased a 2022 GMC Yukon. The vehicle had very low miles and looked to be in good condition. W ! We didn’t go over it with a fine tooth comb because of this and trusted the carfax report we were provided. (Looking back, absolutely a bad move on our part!) We finished our deal (which I was not thrilled with either, but that’s another post) and left the dealership about 8pm. We drove home that night and got home late. After some thought, we changed our minds about some gap coverage and contacted our salesperson to ask if we could add the coverage. He said we could and that we would have to hurry and get the new paperwork completed due to it being time sensitive. We then waited 5 DAYS for the new paperwork! I worried that we wouldn’t be able to get it added, but it finally came. During this waiting period, we also noticed that the back right passenger side bumper had some noticeable touch up paint. I told our salesperson and he literally acted like he didn’t hear what I said and went completely silent. I could tell he wasn’t interested in doing anything about it so I took some pictures and called the dealership and asked to speak to a manager. I was immediately transferred to a completely unrelated voicemail by the receptionist. I called back and asked if anyone was available. The receptionist then transferred me to Victoria, who stated she was a manager. I explained my concerns and she told me that there was “no way the vehicle would have passed inspection”. I said, well it did ma’am. She then told me that while she was a manager, she could not help me with this and again I was transferred to an unrelated voicemail. I called back a third time and the receptionist didn’t even give a greeting and just immediately put me on indefinite hold. I thought there was something wrong with the phones so I hung up and tried one last time, same thing. I then took some pictures and emailed not one, but two managers (Eric and Justin), and to my surprise, absolutely no response from anyone. I spent a good deal of time and money with them and they have just completely ghosted me regarding the situation. I have since taken the vehicle to a shop to get an estimate of the damage and I was told that there is more damage than you can initially see and that someone did a “patch job” to get this vehicle sold. So with all that said, thanks for NOTHING Rivard GMC!! I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone, ever!! Your customer service is a complete joke!! Upon reading other reviews, this is a common issue and management frequently ghosts people that have issues!! Keep that in mind and if you do by chance decide to purchase a vehicle from them, be absolutely sure you go over it with a fine tooth comb because they will NOT stand behind it!! I am so disappointed with this experience!! More
