My experience at Riley Volvo was surprisingly pleasant. On the time agreed the gentleman came to pick up my car. I was notified during the day as to progress. Trying to buy a car during a Pandemic I attempted to test drive with Riley Volvo. It took reaching out to them 4 times by me and 2 times by Volvo corporate to get a response. I scheduled I attempted to test drive with Riley Volvo. It took reaching out to them 4 times by me and 2 times by Volvo corporate to get a response. I scheduled a test drive for Tuesday morning, giving them 3 business days to be ready for it. We did not specify a time, which was clearly a mistake on my part. I thought they would be ready to go first thing in the morning. When I contacted them at 9:00 a.m. I got a response 20 minutes late saying someone would be right out. Then asking me which car I was interested in. It didn't matter to me I just wanted to test drive the model and then pick the specific one after. I waited another 30 minutes for them to tell me someone was leaving. So it was just after 10;00. Unfortunately, I could not wait any longer as I had to get to my office to be on a meeting. This did not sit well with Jameson. A simple phone call or email yesterday would have managed everyones expectations. I had already purchased a car from this dealership last year and included the extended warranty. I also have that car serviced at the same dealership. I felt as though they shoudl have been very prepared for me todday, but unfortunately the were not. I am going to continue to shop for the car that I want and will probably look for another dealer to service both cars in the future. More
