We recently had to take our brand new car in to be serviced for a shaking issue. After setting up the appointment because we were told the part was in, upon our arrival we were told the part was not serviced for a shaking issue. After setting up the appointment because we were told the part was in, upon our arrival we were told the part was not there and a test drive was needed (which was already done). The service rep was quite rude at the time. My husband then spoke with the service manager (Chris Fuller after that who helped a lot), discussed the situation, and found the part was ordered but had not arrived yet. We were told when it came in, we would be notified. Just this week, we took the car back to have the part installed, which unfortunately has not resolved the issue with the shaking. But what also offended me is the write up on the service slip saying “the customer is very upset about the shaking and part not being available.” That is not why we are upset. We are upset by the way we were originally treated the day we arrived for service by the service rep telling us the part was not available, and we had to take it for a test ride. Seems like someone was trying to cover up a lie…. Who was telling the truth? We were upset about the treatment we received; not the vehicle or the need to get a part replaced. More
