I took my Certified 2018 4-Runner back to where I bought it for warranty work. There was a humming noise in the left front wheel area. First time they replaced the bearing, second time the certified technic it for warranty work. There was a humming noise in the left front wheel area. First time they replaced the bearing, second time the certified technician said it was the wind, third time it’s the wind, fourth time it’s the tires, and then proceeded to try and sale my wife new tires that were still under warranty. I wrote a review telling them we would go into arbitration. Legally they aren’t allowed to touch the vehicle, but they did. Rich lies and said the tires and the loose oil pan was the problem and cleared the case with Toyota corporate. We took the vehicle to another dealership and it was the exhaust shield and fixed the issue with no problems. Who’s the liar in this? Rich also threatened me with stating that “back in NY we take care of people who cause problems” because apparently his father is a retired police chief. Unfortunately the issue was never solved and the constant lies, threats and terrible service provided to an under warranty vehicle ruins your reputation with me. The general manager uses his puppets like Rich to solve issues with people but not fix the issues with vehicles. It’s so unfortunate that you even run a business. Be sure to go elsewhere like Nalley Toyota for your needs because they are ranked #1. More
