Mr. Hull, I hope this message finds you well, Sir. After doing additional research, checking the camera footage, and talking to Blake, who you met ever so briefly outside, I find these claims unfounded. The vehicle you looked at did have additional equipment, as some of our new vehicles do. The particular vehicle you looked at had $1395 in additional equipment. We are always happy to work with our clients to come to a price that is both agreeable and affordable. I would have liked the opportunity to speak with you in the few minutes your spent outside but you were gone just as quickly as you arrived and refused assistance. If you would like to discuss your visit or pricing or even just how we operate I am happy to speak and more importantly listen. You can reach me at 404.236.1905. Lee Crumpton General Manager

Sir, the MSRP on the car was around $48000. There was an additional addage of $2200 to the MSRP to make the retail over $50000. That was the final price on the sticker. I saw it with my own eyes. The additional amount to what you claim to be only $1395 had another $700 in addition. (Probably the bogus Toyoplatinum) Anyway, when you start the price at $2200 OVER MSRP you put the consumer in a bad position. If you start out fair without the padded additions the consumer thinks you aren't a crook.

Sir, I saw what I saw and I remember because I stood there staring at the numbers until a salesman walked up and ask me if I needed help. And I remember because Rick Hendrick is the only Toyota dealer in Atlanta that has "dealer installed options" meaning that a perfectly good car needed, you said:$1400, I said 2200 in extra "things" that people didn't ask for. If you went to your dentist and he said: " That's 1000 dollars for a crown but you have to buy a 300 dollar special toothbrush that is part of the treatment. You would say "Get Lost"

Leo and Lil! Thank you for reaching out here. We encourage the feedback as we are constantly looking for ways to improve upon processes and to hear what our customers think of their time spent with us. I do apologize about the double charge on the mats. That was 100% oversight on our part. We order most of our cars from the factory without mats and, instead, install them here at the store as it is beneficial to our parts department. This one slipped through the cracks and came from the factory with them. Check is in the mail as was discussed this morning. I'm not sure about the other two double charges but I can't find a Toyota system that does what our GPS/ anti-theft system does. We have been able to assist our client in recovering two stolen vehicles with this system. Pretty cool! In regards to the Admin fee: it is included in the online price but must always be itemized. We doubled the online discount for you that it was included in so it was more than included in the posted price but still must be broken out on the forms. I heartily appreciate your business and am happy to discuss this all with you as you are so important to us here. Please feel free to reach me at 404.236.1905. Lee Crumpton General Manager

Mr. Crumpton, I am happy to see you responded to this review in a prompt manner. I really appreciate you doing so. I also appreciate the refund for the floor mat double-charge. I was surprised, however, that you aren't aware that the factory Toyota Safety Connect System includes the Stolen Vehicle Locator feature. A YouTube video explaining this can be seen here: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTAzIHNstbUdes. Frankly speaking, I believe that the reason dealers LOVE Kahu is because it offers a way to get customers to heavily subsidize your Kahu inventory management system behind the scenes. Of course, it also serves to increase dealer profit and/or decrease price negotiation losses. Please also try to understand the customer's perspective: By installing it on all new cars before offering them for sale, you are forcing customers to buy an inferior (8 features) and redundant connected technology system when a superior one (24 features) is already built into the car from the factory. I have also gone back and reviewed all the sales docs once again. After closely comparing the documents side by side, I now understand how you dropped the base sale price to be able to add in the addendum sticker items and doc fees, while still matching the advertised price. My apologies for having said that the doc fee was a double charge. I have deleted that paragraph from the body of my review. In addition, I will change my response to RECOMMEND the dealership. Having done and said that: 1) I still think that an administrative fee of $800.00 is still way high (and for transparency should just be labeled as Additional Dealer Profit), but I understand how it was indeed included in the advertised price, and as described in the internet disclaimer. 2) I am still not happy about the Kahu box thing being mandatory though. I removed the fuse from mine because it was draining my car battery (we drive the car very little), plus, I don't care to be tracked and then later have my trip information sold to the outside world.
