I made an appointment in advance to leave it with you on Friday and it didn't get worked on until Monday. I was told it would be ready on Tuesday and I get a text at the close of the day that it would not. Nobody answers the phone. Nobody returns calls. Everyone passes you on to someone else. AJ was pretty rude & assured me he would contact me fist thing in the am. He did not. I had to physically show up at the service department to get my vehicle so I could operate my business. Then I had to come back days later to get the rest of the work finished. I waited days to get a new side mirror for my van. When I asked about just having a new glass put on the mirror I was told 'Oh No that won't pass inspection' then I was charged over $100 for what, not a brand new mirror but just a replacement of the glass. Exactly what they told me they couldn't do. I feel like I was held hostage. That van is how I PUT FOOD ON MY TABLE and nobody there cared!!! I will tell everyone I know not to go there. I was your customer, now I am done with your business and most likely won't buy another Chevy due to such poor service I was given. Sheri More

I have never in my 17yrs of driving experience the type of dedication and quick to point no finessing to get me to just get a vehicle, but the vehicle I want is what I got. The prices are great and These three guys Drew,Moheeb, and Matt was amazing. I felt like I had my family to make sure the deal was good with no rip off and no gimmicks. I will recommend all my sailora and friends to Rick Hendrick dealership and to these three phenomenal gentlemen! Hands down A+++++++ for keeping it 100! More

My temporary tags expired so had to call for a new set and find out what the hold up was on the permanent tag. I call FOUR times and was given the run around each time. The third person I spoke to to me that they were busy, huh? I guess the sale is more important than the customer satisfaction. I NEVER received a call back as promised. I called the next morning again and the same thing, was given the run around saying the person I needed to speak to was not in yet. I will say that the receptionist apologized profusely, so there was that. I am currently STILL waiting for a call back. The employees of this dealership need to go to school and learn how customer relations work! I will never purchase another vehicle from a Hendrick Dealership. More

Sloppy Advertising Saw a VW Autobahn GTI advertised online. Texted in the morning and made an appointment to see the car that evening after work. Salesman that I the Saw a VW Autobahn GTI advertised online. Texted in the morning and made an appointment to see the car that evening after work. Salesman that I the appointment wasn’t available. Another salesman named Josh (nice guy) walked me to the service bay to see the car. It was on a lift for some unknown reason and I was told that I wouldn’t be able to test drive it. Minor issue as It was NOT the Autobahn GTI as advertised. Same VIN. I had to point it out to them what model it was. No leather seats, navi or sunroof as advertised. Guy behind the counter says VWs are confusing. Josh finds a similar car, also advertised as an autobahn GTI, at a sister dealership. Same year and It had 7K less miles, but was 3K more expensive. I said I would buy that car for the first car price. Sales Manager said no. Wouldn’t budge on price. More expensive etc. I just left. Bait and Switch? Not sure, but I sure wasn’t happy with my experience. Manager didn’t even apologize for the error or for wasting my time. He didn’t even come out to talk to me. He apparently didn’t care. But somebody did, because while Josh was showing me car listings, the online listing for the first car changed from “Autobahn GTI” to “Sport GTI”. Oh yea, same price too. Look elsewhere. More
Where to start? where to start? Saw the 2018 High Country on the lot. Went out of town and asked my brother to stop by and test drive on Friday. He did, said I wou where to start? Saw the 2018 High Country on the lot. Went out of town and asked my brother to stop by and test drive on Friday. He did, said I would like it. Got a business card. I returned to town on Sunday; however, I had a lot going on Monday morning. Still went to the bank to secure a loan Monday afternoon and called the dealership to make appointment at 9am Tuesday. Show up Tuesday at 9am and sure enough my name is on the board, but the sales person is at a doctor's appointment. Said they would be a little late...so I wait. While waiting an associate came up to me and asked what vehicle I was looking at so he could have the keys ready. I told him the 2018 High Country. He informs me that the truck is sold. So I leave...because the salesperson is already 30 minutes late and apparently they already sold it. I go down to RK Chevrolet with my pre-approved check and look at a 2019 High Country. Then my brother gets a call from Rick Hendrick Chevrolet and asks if I am still interested in the 2018. My brother informs them they told me it was sold and that I was at another dealership getting a truck. They said it would be worth my while to return and look at the truck because it wasn't sold. So after hearing the offer at RK Chevrolet I return to Rick Hendrick. The Sales Manager allows me to drive the High Country and I tell him it is nice but now I wanted to see what 2019 he had. That pearl white one was not on the lot (somebody took it home test drive). I looked at a 2019 Z71 that had everything but the technology package and the automatic steps. So I contemplate my choices at RK is calling me back about another truck. Offers are going back and forth between both dealership. I make a final offer to Rick Hendrick on the 2018 and they accept. Clean it up..send me on my way. The bug guard snaps (see photo) on the highway with less than 93 miles driven. I talk with the sales guy and he said they can replace it...but it might take a while since they don't carry that brand. So I ask if I could purchase one and they reimburse me for it. They said yes. I get it and set an appointment to have the old one removed and new one installed (because there was a little damage to the hood where it was flapping before it snapped) and these guys are professionals. There was adhesive that needed to be removed before the new one could be done. I make the appointment on time. Sales guy drives it right over. I wait and wait and wait... 90 minutes pass and I am now going to be late for work (have to drive to Chesapeake). What was a 30 minute job is now 90 minutes. I get to the truck and boy am I disappointed. First, it looks like they just ripped off the old one and took the four screws and put the new one on. Wow, what did that take...5 minutes? What else was going on the other 85 minutes. I show the sales guy who drove me over there to pick it up and I pop the hood and guess what is setting on the radiator? Yep, a set of pliers. Trash in the front seat. I ask to see the manager and he says he is sorry but they have a lot going on. Oh really? I set the appointment and you are in a rush to just do my truck as quickly as possible and probably forgot to call for pickup. I asked if he looked at the truck and the work done prior to saying it was complete? He said no, that they had a lot of other things going. PISSED off was what I was at that point. NOT YOUR JOB to supervise your workers work? How about that is what the word implies...SUPERVISOR! The scratches are still there on the hood and I will leave them there as a reminder of not to do business with Rick Hendrick Chevrolet in the future. If anybody asks about them...I'll just tell them the same story I just typed out here. More

This dealership is lame! A bunch of liars. Total worst experience of my life. I buy a $60,000 car from them and they have to go lie over something that costs $25. Pathetic. A bunch of liars. Great Car at a Great Price But… While Tyler Sellers was a pleasant, knowledgeable, patient, and even fun salesman for the self-imposed, long drawn out wait to get my Corvette, the ac While Tyler Sellers was a pleasant, knowledgeable, patient, and even fun salesman for the self-imposed, long drawn out wait to get my Corvette, the actual purchase was rather painful. First the agreed upon price was wrong. No problem just a 30-minute wait while those in the glass palace took their time to generate a new piece of paper with the correct out the door price. Once we had that, we had to wait for a Finance Manager (who do they manage anyway??). There are at least three who work there (I don’t have any names as none of them passed out a business card) but only one as working the afternoon of Monday March 4th. He sat at his desk for over an hour talking to/working with a co-worker as we waited. Seems like the wrong priority. They’re not prepared for a Museum Delivery, but that’s another discussion. At the conclusion of our business, he apologized for our wait, saying he wasn’t there. He was, while we waited just outside. A week later I was contacted to ensure I was completely satisfied with my sales experience. I informed them that I was more than satisfied with Tyler, but far less than satisfied with the Financial Manager. I was asked if I’d like to talk to a sales manager or the General Manager. I responded that I would like to talk to the GM. I was told he would be informed of my desire. A day or two later Tyler said he would send the GM a reminder. Two weeks later now, and I still haven’t heard from him. This too is disappointing. Would I do it again? Yes, but I would hope they improve their processes and priorities. More
