On Friday September 3, 2021 I had an appointment to replace my start/stop at 10:45. While waiting in the lobby I was approached at 1:15 by the Service Advisor Amy that the old part was taken off and pu replace my start/stop at 10:45. While waiting in the lobby I was approached at 1:15 by the Service Advisor Amy that the old part was taken off and put back together because there was not a new part in stock. She stated that the part could be in the next day Saturday September 4, 2021 or the latest Tuesday September 7, 2021 because Rick Hendrick was closed Monday September 6, 2021 for the Labor Day Holiday but I would be contacted when the part was in. Two weeks passed by and I heard nothing from Rick Hendricks maintenance department or Amy. I called on Thursday September 16, 2021 and was told my service advisor Amy had stepped away and they would have her call me. I never received the called. I received a call from Amy on Friday September 17, 2021 and was told to come in Monday morning September 20, 2021 to have the part installed. I can in to have the part installed and left upon completion. Later that evening I continue to have same problem and the engine light was on. I went to start my car on Tuesday morning September 21, 2021 and the car would not start. I called Rick Hendrick maintenance department and told the receptionist the problem and they tried to contact my service advisor and discovered that she was not working. They turned it over to Janea who told me to have the car towed in. I called AAA and they picked up my car at 11:58AM Tuesday September 21, 2021 headed to Rick Hendrick which is less than 15 minutes from my house. Three hours had passed and I did not hear anything from the Janea or the technician so I called. I spent 11 minutes 37 seconds on the phone while the receptionist tried to contact Janea and/or the technician and returned and stated that she could not find them but everyone was busy but she would have someone call me when they were available. I received a called at 3:26 by Janea and she said that if they did not get to the car by the end of the day that they would get to it tomorrow morning Wednesday September 22, 2021. I received a text message Wednesday morning September 22, 2021 at 7:33AM stating this is Janae, your service advisor @Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Norfolk. Should you need anything throughout your visit, please reply to this text. I contacted Janea at 3:30 Wednesday September 22, 2021 via the text message asking the status of my car since I have not heard anything all day other talking to her the previous day 27 hours ago. I received a call from Janea at 3.32 Wednesday September 22, 2021 stating that they had not had the opportunity to get to my car but would get to it the next day. When was I going to get at least a curtesy call letting me know that my vehicle would not be looked at that day. I have noticed once you are not on station waiting for your vehicle you are pushed to the end of the line for vehicle service but as long as you are on station you get first hand service. She (Janea) knew that I was not on station (in the lobby) waiting for my vehicle and that is why I was pushed to the end of the line and not given a curtesy called. This will put my car at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Norfolk waiting for maintenance for on or about 48 hours. I am so disgusted with how this has been handled I am lost for words. Where is The CUSTOMER SERVICE here? More

Took a bit for the oil change, waited 2.5 hours not that big of a deal, but when the car was done car was parked behind another car with a truck next to it and minimal space to pull out and turn around to l big of a deal, but when the car was done car was parked behind another car with a truck next to it and minimal space to pull out and turn around to leave the lot. I had to back up about half the parking lot just to leave, another issue was the placemat they put in car and wrap for steering wheel and the rear view mirror hanger was left in the car. More
