Based off my experience last night I would not recommend this dealership. I called at 4PM to inquire about a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 listed on their website. I schedule a 6:30 appointment. The gentlemen t this dealership. I called at 4PM to inquire about a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 listed on their website. I schedule a 6:30 appointment. The gentlemen that I spoke with said he would let his used car sales manager know it would be between 6:30/7 to be safe. I explained that it is a 2 hour drive depending on traffic. At 6PM I was contacted by Bill the used car sales manager asking if I was going to be able to make it in. I informed him that I was coming. I let him know I was sitting in traffic in Hampton by the bridge tunnel. I should be there at 6:39. Upon arriving at the dealership the salesman that was assigned to my appointment seemed like he didn’t know what I was there to look at. I informed him what truck I was there to look at. He goes to locate the truck. While waiting my brother/son who went with me go out to the lot to see if they can put eyes on the truck. Finally the salesman and who I assume was the sales manager return. I was informed that while the truck was getting inspected the brakes had gone out. The truck was not available to test drive let alone even look at. Meanwhile my brother/son had eyes on the truck on the lot. A white Silverado 1500 with a paper on the dash “DO NOT MOVE HAS NO BRAKES.”Unless they had (2) white 2006 Silverado 1500 with no brakes it was the same truck that was “in the service bay unable to even be looked at.” My brother saw the truck posted on Monday (11/29) at that time the listing had no pictures. Yesterday (12/1) the listing had the price and pictures. Even if the truck had not been inspected prior to when it was first listed. I was contacted by the used car sales manager at 6PM. He should have known the truck would not have been available as their service department closes at 6. I could have received a call at any point to let me know. I was offered to look at other trucks. Let’s face it though when I feel you have now wasted four hours of my time and contradicted yourself I have no faith in any future involvement with you or your dealership. More
