On 6/22/20 there was a Recall issued on my 2020 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Black Widow Silverado by SCA. On 11/6/20 I brought the truck back to where I had purchased it, Norfolk Rick Hendrick for Anniversary Limited Edition Black Widow Silverado by SCA. On 11/6/20 I brought the truck back to where I had purchased it, Norfolk Rick Hendrick for an oil change and because the back window was leaking. Tracy Barcus was my Service Advisor and she was amazing. After the oil change and rear window was addressed she told me that they would order the parts for the Recall and call me to schedule when the parts came in. I never got a call. When my truck was ready for another oil change I attempted to contact Tracy, to schedule through the Chat forum on-line, through email, and by actually calling several times each for 3 months and was told they didn’t know how to obtain the parts for that Recall, that they would order them and call me when they came in, or I was just plain ignored. I finally gave up and contacted SCA myself which was as simple as an email and on 4/15/21 Tim Hatcher with SCA agreed to send the parts directly to me so I could have them installed elsewhere. On 5/3/21 I stopped into Rick Hendrick for what I thought was the last time because I was going to ask for a refund on the remainder of my Service and Oil Change packages. At this time Joe Garvin told me that Tracy no longer worked there and they were working on re-vamping the Dealership for these precise reasons and begged me to give the Dealership, give him specifically another chance. I reluctantly agreed and finally got my truck in for an oil change. While my truck was there Joe took it upon himself to contact SCA and have the parts directed to the Dealership instead of to me assuring me once again they would call when they were received. There was never a call. Once again at the end of September I needed another oil change and attempted through all the same channels as before to schedule that along with the Recall. Once again all I got was the run around. I contacted Tim Hatcher again at SCA on 12/13/21 and he informed me that he would send me the parts because he also was having issues contacting the Dealership which had the parts that were programmed for my truck specifically in their possession since 5/4/21. I call Rick Hendrick again to request a refund on my Service and Oil Change package. I am directed to the Finance Department where I am told that is a simple fix. They will send me an email and all I have to do is print the papers in the email, sign them, and send them back along with a picture of my odometer. A day or so later I receive a call from Mike Leptekin who states he is a Service Manager at Rick Hendrick and asks what my issues are. He tells me Joe no longer works at that Dealership and agrees that what I’ve been through is unacceptable, tells me he will look into it and get back to me the following day. 2 days later I call him and he tells me he hasn’t had a chance to look into it yet, to give him a few more days. A week later I finally call him back and leave a message in which I threaten to sue the Dealership and 10 minutes later he calls back and says the parts for the Recall FINALLY arrived. SCA had to send the parts to them again because the old ones could not be tracked down. On 12/20/21 my truck finally gets the Recall installed and an oil change. I make it abundantly clear to both Mike and my 3rd Service Manager in 2 years, Christopher Holland that I will never set foot in this Dealership again and I would still like to pursue my refund. They both assure me they will ensure I get that email. I have tried several times again since then and have only been ignored. Tony Carabin from SCA also contacted me on 12/20/21 as I was driving my truck home to inquire about the status of the Recall on my truck because he also had attempted to contact the Dealership several times since sending the second part on 12/18/21 and was just as unsuccessful as I was at getting any information. I absolutely love my truck and SCA, Rick Hendrick I will never again set foot in, however. I spent $90,000 on this truck at this Dealership and can not even get a response from them specifically or their Corporate Headquarters which I have also contacted several time with no response for something as simple as a refund for services they refuse to provide in a timely manner anyway. Ricks Hendricks is the best I would not go anywhere else but them I appreciate all that y'all do for me great service.
