Corvette Z06 "NO SALE" My wife and I made the 50+ mile drive over today after review in stock vehicles online. We drove up with our current 2008 Z51 Corvette and we spent a few minutes out front enjoying viewing the ten or more Z06's that were staged. We were looking at the Black on Black sinister Corvette that I had decide on prior to the drive over to the dealership. My wife was wondering why nobody was helping us outside. I would have chalked it up to the concept of many people look at these but never buy. We went inside and we asked a gentleman that was standing at the front door is he was in sales. He said yes and introduced himself as Miguel Guerrero. I inquired if he could help me with a Z06 and he said he could not and that they had a guy for Corvettes and went over to another area to see if he was available. He came back with Dan Houser. We sat down with Dan and told him the background and I indicated the Z06 that I was looking was one of the ones out front. We went back to his desk and sat down for a few minutes and exchanged some information on the vehicle and my intent to purchase. Dan started telling me about the Z06 models and was giving some of the specs and indicated in the run of information that they didi not allow test drives, along with additional information on the cars. I let him finish and then I looked over at my wife and said "I think I have heard all I need to hear. If I can't drive a vehicle that's in this price range I don't want to buy it here." She was looking at me and was nodding in agreement and was just as surprised. Dan quickly replied that we could drive a Stingray if we would like and that the Corvette Z06 is the same car with more power and wider tires. The statement came off with a little condescending tone. I felt extremely insulted at this point and proceeded to slide my chair back to stand, my wife did the same. We stood and extended a hand shake to Dan. Dan followed with "I sell one everyday and I sold 88 last year." We wished him well and headed outside to leave. We left Rick Hendrick Chevrolet feeling like they did not want to sell us a car and that they did not need our business. There is a price on the car that we were going to buy, but my experience was PRICELESS..... More

steve the finance guy totaly screwed up twice. Our acountant called usthe end of the year and said you should buy a suv and make sure its in both your names. So we did. Then we went to steve the finance guy.as soon as we sat down explained to him we both have 850 beacon scores and it neefs to be in my wifes name and my name. In case something happens to 1 of us. No problem he said. 1hr 45 min later at almost midnight we are the only ones threre. He hands us the bill of sale and its only my wifes name. We said why is both our names on it. He said oh. It should not be a problem in fl. If it iscome back and i will fix it.rushing us out the door. . Fl said it needs to be on the bill of sale. We went back to steve and now he said the only way he can fix his mustake. Is by charging us the customer anither $2500 in taxes again. He said he is sorry. So we the customer are screwed . Now 2 months later they still can not find our tag. We have no plate. And no help..screwed again. . More
