January 19th, 2018 took it to Hendrick's in Richmond, Va. for a few issues mostly electr Bought a new 2016 Chevy Suburban from Hendrick's Jan 1, 2016. January 19th, 2018 took it to Hendrick's in Richmond, Va. for a few issues mostly electrical related. Warranty for these issues ran out at 36k miles or year 2018. The odometer reading was 37k+. We live 60 miles from the dealer and use vehicle as a daily driver. Therefore, tried to bring it ASAP but difficult with far commute and convenience. This, however, is not Hendrick's fault. As the owner it is my responsibility to get issues resolved during the warranty time frame. But myself and our family owned businesses has owned and still do several GM vehicles and own several road tractors, heavy equipment, etc. All warranty issues may not always have been or will be covered but have had cases where the dealer will "plead the customers case." Such as this case where I believe Hendrick's could have stated that these electrical problems were not driver error and being that the vehicle was only 1000+- miles out of warranty and owners location was a factor of added miles; there may could have been something worked out. Maybe I am wrong but there has been many cases where we have been taken care of by the dealer when warranty was an issue. I just felt like another "sale" than a valued customer. Hendrick's has lost all my business as well as any recommendations. More

Our sales man, Medhat, was great from the moment we walked in front doors. He showed us all options that were in our price range and was honest about where cars may have fit into our bottom line. He did not set us up for sticker shock and let down, like many other sales men at other companies would. Medhat even gave me a ride to get my trade in while my car was being detailed. He is exactly what I look for in a sales man. Even though we did buy a new car that is a little bit more than what we anticipated for sale price (by our choice) we could not be happier with the level.of service we received from Medhat and the Hendrick team. More
