Explorer  Conversion Van was looked at yesterday with a purchase price of $36k. It is a 2010 Black in color with 35,063 miles. The condition of the van was good not great with a sagging headliner faded head and taillights. The trim along the side of the van was separated and loose from the body. The roof paint was cracked from what I assume heat from being exposed to the sun 🌞 during those summer months. The original window sticker back in 2010 when it was sold was $35,840. Their listed price 11 years (2021) later is $36,395 now how is that possible 🤔. The sales manager came out and basically insulted our intelligence by trying to convince us that this price is legit due to add-ons that the van has that is listed on the original sticker. We tried to inform him that the price thats on the original window sticker includes all of the upgrades and features that is listed at that original price. How can you sell something more now then what it cost 11 years ago with age defects which is a validation for depreciation? More
