I was visiting friends in Charleston where I picked up a screw in a run flat tire on my X5. I’ve had a great experience with Rick Hendrick BMW’s service department in dealing with a difficult issue that arose with my vehicle. In 2022, I purchased a 1-year old BMW with only 7,000 miles from service department in dealing with a difficult issue that arose with my vehicle. In 2022, I purchased a 1-year old BMW with only 7,000 miles from a BMW dealer out-of-state before moving to Charleston last year. I brought my car into Rick Hendrick BMW as my new service center, and upon examining it they discovered that my vehicle had been in an undisclosed collision (not reported on the Carfax when I purchased this from the other BMW dealer) and had aftermarket parts installed, causing this issue to fall outside of warranty and yield some costly repairs that would fall on me personally. Rick Hendrick BMW caught pretty quickly what this other dealer missed when they took the car back for resale before I purchased it. Rick Hendrick BMW was my advocate and communicated alongside me with the other BMW dealer in attempting to have them cover the damaged the other dealer neglected to notice. While unfortunately the other dealer refused to acknowledge responsibility, I felt like Rick Hendrick BMW did all they could and more to help out through this stressful experience. They were extremely communicative and got everything fixed for a total cost under the quoted estimate. My service advisor, Alli Mattison, was beyond great to work with, and Jared Young (service manager) was very helpful too. I’ve very glad to have Rick Hendrick BMW as my local dealer now that I’m back in Charleston. More
