We purchased a 2012 Honda Fit today and it was a great experience! Excellent service and help from salesperson Brook Harris! A really nice guy, funny and he knows his stuff. He made the car buying process easy and straight-forward! Both my wife and I have purchased many different types of vehicles in the past but the Honda's we have owned have been by far the most reliable. I currently have an Acura TL (Honda's up market brand) that has just over 100,000 miles on it and that I purchased new in 2006. I've never had to do more than routine maintenace and it has been a great car to drive and until now was the only car my wife and I owned for the last few years so reliability was key. My wife's most recent car was a Honda Civic that she purchased new in 2001 and sold it in 2007 for only $9000 less than she paid. These cars hold their value extremely well! When you get down to it, customers are turned off or intimidated by the pushy salesperson or one they feel is just out to get the better of them in negotiating the price of the vehicle. That was not our experience at all with Brook Harris. He was there to answer our questions and listen to our needs. In our previous experiences you get a perceived "deal" on other car manufacturers because they have to discount them or deal to get them sold. They artificially build in the "deal" into the starting asking price of the car. Honda makes an extremely well built vehicle and they price them competitively. You will not walk out of any Honda dealership and buy a car for thousands under list but you will get a car that will not lose thousands of dollars of value when you drive it off the lot. There is a reason we purchased our cars new in the past and did again, the prices of the used ones that are out there haven't dropped much at all so it doesn't justify going used. In all the other cars I have owned, buying used was always the better deal but not with Honda's. The financing process was smooth and transparent. The other staff we worked with were all very helpful and there to answer questions. We have only good things to say about our car-buying experience at Richfield Bloomington Honda and especially with our easy-going salesperson Brook Harris! I thought Paul was very friendly and he was always willing to do whatever he could to help me with completing the sale. He did not seem like he was just trying to sale me a car and he never tried to p willing to do whatever he could to help me with completing the sale. We were looking for a very specific car - a 5-speed Honda Fit. I did online inquiries and Fred called right away saying he had one in stock. He met us when we arrived and was very helpful and not pushy - w Fit. I did online inquiries and Fred called right away saying he had one in stock. Buying a car and dealing with car dealers is not something we generally enjoy doing, but I can honestly say dealing with Fred was a true pleasure. He is knowledgeable, honest, and kind. Thank you. Everyone I have met at RB Honda is terrific. Working there is obviously not "just a job" for them. I've mostly dealt with Roy Reynolds and he is just so helpful and patient. I had a positive experience and my problem was effectively fixed(over heating). I was treated politely and got in and out quickly.
