The Manager was also helpful in answering all my questions. I definitely recommend stopping in to see them. I purchased a car that I wasn't even considering before. Worth Giving Them a Chance I visited this dealership a few weeks ago because we seriously interested in purchasing two new vehicles. I had already received quotes from other dea I visited this dealership a few weeks ago because we seriously interested in purchasing two new vehicles. I had already received quotes from other dealerships but wanted to give these guys a try despite some of the negative reviews online because they are only a 15 minute drive from my home. I dealt with Alex Eagen via email and he was extremely pleasant. On arrival, I was shown the vehicles by Dave Thal who was also great. Dave Thal did an excellent job of explaining the features on the vehicles that we were interested in and patiently answered all our questions. Despite having already given Alex an summary of the price quotes that I had received elsewhere, the quotes that I received from Dave were grossly above what I was expecting. I wasn't really interested in negotiating when I had received fair no-haggle pricing elsewhere. Alex was not involved in the discussions and he is actually based out of RIchard Lucas Chevrolet, it seems. It was a disappointing situation that Alex could have handle better since he already knew what prices we had received. I felt bad for Dave and really wanted to give him my business. I now have my two Subaru vehicles on order from the other dealership. I still think it is worth giving these guys a chance if they are in your area. I just wish they would offer more competitive pricing. More

Crooked Practices I negotiated a price ahead of time with Dave and Damian over the phone and internet. I confirmed three times the out the door price included NYC taxes I negotiated a price ahead of time with Dave and Damian over the phone and internet. I confirmed three times the out the door price included NYC taxes and tags. They knew it was a 45 min ride to the dealership for me. I did not want to waste my time nor theirs. When I arrived to the dealership they played the bait and switch game. The price all of the sudden was not accurate. They made a mistake calculating the taxes apparently. I confirmed that it was NYC taxes and plates and even confirmed the tax rate ahead of time--i understand mistakes happen but they offered nothing but an insincere apology. They didn't even offer any other incentive to meet me half way on the issue. It was only a $400 difference. It wasn't the money, it was the principle. These crooks don't deserve my business. Steer clear! I went down the road to Sansone Nissan and purchased a brand new Nissan Altima instead. Drove it off the lot two hours later. More

I need the car" "oops, i meant 2-3 weeks, thats what i meant" Why did you say that up front, that i had to wait 2-3 weeks?? "I didnt say that, the cars in such high demand that it will be at least 7-9 weeks! and that fee that I initally told you was a $500 locate fee, yeah its gonna be tough to get that back, since it wasnt really a locate fee, it was a deposit" ALso, please guys, im in sales too-please iron your shirts. That was my experience. I then went to World Subaru and dealt with a great crew over there with no xx. More
