Richard Chevrolet responded

Customer contacted our customer care department inquiring on the condition of 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with 142,000 miles on it. We advised customer that the vehicle, based on age and mileage, was in good condition with surface rust. Customer drove down from out of state to look at the vehicle and was not pleased with the condition of the vehicle. We apologized to customer if he felt that we did not adequately describe the condition of the vehicle. The matter was discussed internally with the customer care and pre-owned vehicle departments. We have since put processes in place to avoid this situation in the future. We also provided customer with a gas card to compensate him for his travel to our dealership.
