Engine issue on Good Friday. I have been having most of the service done for my wife’s and my Acadia’s at your place. From time to time my son’s Cobalt(he lives in Maryland). In January, I had a Carbon Treatment and the Spark Plugs replaced as well, (70,000 miles). All was well. Then Friday 4/14/17(yes Good Friday), I was on my way to see my son in Maryland, when the engine light came on and the engine was running rough. So in Danbury I stopped at the GM dealership, and they did a code check. Engine miss firing. They could not look at it based on the Holiday. They also advised I do not drive to Maryland with the issue I had. So I drove back to Cheshire and pulled into your service area. Carrie, who knew my name from a few months ago, (how), listened to my issue. Heading to Maryland for the Holiday…. Next thing I know she is speaking to Steve, who read the repair order from January, and I heard him say that he remembered the repair. How he could remember, based on the hundreds of vehicles he must see is amazing. What is more amazing, is that on a holiday, without an appointment, Steve himself brought my Acadia in, identified the issue, (believe it was a bad coil), replaced it, and shook my hand and told me to get on with my trip. I was there for maybe an hour. There was NO CHARGE. More

Great service from start to finish! I dropped off my vehicle at 7 AM for service and was pleasantly greeted by Carrie. In less than a minute my service needs were confirmed and she intr I dropped off my vehicle at 7 AM for service and was pleasantly greeted by Carrie. In less than a minute my service needs were confirmed and she introduced me to my morning driver that was bringing me to work about 15 minutes away. Both morning and afternoon drivers were friendly and on time, as usual. My service was completed in a timely manner and I received a phone call from Carrie indicating as such. Basic service & oil change I have used Richard Chevrolet to service my GMC Sierra in the past, and every time I go there I am met with people that show me respect and courtesy, I have used Richard Chevrolet to service my GMC Sierra in the past, and every time I go there I am met with people that show me respect and courtesy, and are genuinely interested in taking good care of me. This time I was assisted by Sid Greatorex. Mr. Greatorex has taken good care of me on previous occasions, and he again met me with a warm smile while I was driving my truck in. He took care of my truck immediately. My truck went right in for my oil change, and I was able to sit down and relax with a cup of coffee in the lounge. The dealership also provided bagels and sandwiches that were really good. As soon as my truck service was done Mr. Greatorex came into the lounge and brought me back up to his desk where he completed my paperwork and made sure everything was all in good order. I am very happy to recommend the service center at Richard Chevrolet to anyone in need to car repairs or servicing. They are great, and the facility is wonderful!!! More
