I was greeted as soon as I stepped out of the car by Frank. He was very helpful throughout the entire experience. We went into the dealership November 29, 2012 to specifically see the Ford Fusion as a second vehicle. Josh was very helpful and knowledgeable of the Fusion and being that our credit is in the proc specifically see the Ford Fusion as a second vehicle. Josh was very helpful and knowledgeable of the Fusion and being that our credit is in the process of being rebuilt we were unable to comfortably purchase the Fusion. Doug had an innovative idea to help rebuild our credit by getting a lease and utilizing our Kia as collateral to eventually get the goal of two vehicles in the near future. Basically our trade prepaid a 2 year lease through the equity and we have no payments yet at the same time increasing our credit score by showing on time payments each month. Today I'm writing this review because I see clearly how Doug and Josh helped by doing this...Our credit scores increased over 50 points in only 2 months! The dilemma is that we need 2 vehicles and we planned on returning to get another car after our scores do indeed increase. We went to the used car lot at Ricart today (January 27, 2013) and Ray Pasco, used salesperson(same company), says to us that what Doug says about raising our credit is impossible and told us that he must have lied to us just to "close the deal"(AWKWARD MOMENT). When Ray pulled our credit that's how we discovered that our credit score DID INCREASE, thanks to Doug and Josh's approach. Needless to say we left the used car lot and returned to the new lot to speak with Josh and Doug about our next new car purchase plan. Doug assured us to continue with our original plan to purchase in March again. We bought new cars from Ricart Kia and Ricart Ford this year alone. I only have good things to say about the new dealerships at Ricart because they seem genuine and there to help you. The experience we had at the used lot at Ricart today made us run back to the new lot in disbelief of the terrible service experienced at the used side. After speaking with Doug, he helped us regain our faith in the Ricart family of dealerships but we will never visit the used lot again...not enough here to explain the terrible experience because that's a review all of it's own. We are just wanting to express that YES there is a big difference in the two dealerships when it comes to customer service used vs new. More
I just want to thank Bill and Frank for all their hard work.... I was leary going up to look at buying another Ford Truck and had already made up my mind what I wanted. Yes they could have sold me what I had made up in my mind I wanted and made more money but instead he chose to do the honest thing and fit me with a truck that not only suits my lifestyle both in work and recreational fun and did not discount that we all have a budget to stay in.... I will gladly recommend to anyone looking for a new truck or whatever it may be ask to see Bill and Frank you will not be disappointed. David More
The worst service I have ever experienced anywhere. I sat waiting for 4.5 hours for new tires and they didn't even do the alignment. Anywhere else could have gotten this done in an under an hour an a ha sat waiting for 4.5 hours for new tires and they didn't even do the alignment. Anywhere else could have gotten this done in an under an hour an a half. They never apologized. All I got was blank stares. Every time I went ask what was going on, they said it the vehicle would "done in a minute." Then another 45 minutes to an hour would pass by. The attitude and level of service at Ricart Ford is the most deplorable I've ever seen from a dealership. I've seen a higher level of service at a back alley buy here pay here dealer. More
After not reaching a deal on a new 2013 Ford Explorer I received a call from Michael Trott saying that he really wanted my business. I was out of town for a few days and we were able to negociate a deal o received a call from Michael Trott saying that he really wanted my business. I was out of town for a few days and we were able to negociate a deal over the phone that he had approved through his manager. The day before I was to come in and finalize the transaction, I called Mr Trott to talk about financing and specifics was referred to the Manager Doug McFarland, suddenly, the price changed. He said they had made a "mistake" and wanted $2,000 more to do the deal. I told him that Mr. Trott and I had a prior agreement that was approved by a manager and I so asked to speak to Mr. Trott. After hearing a few whispers "coaching" Mr. Trott answered the phone and told me that we had a "miscommunication" and denied ever saying that we had an agreement. Then he had the nerve to say "If I don't like it, call the police". Classy Mr. Troot, Classy. More

After that we went to see the car I was looking for, I test drove it, loved it. Mr. Tronny did all my paperwork and got me the car I needed and wanted without any hassle. Ryan was great! No pressure sales, but VERY knowledgeable of the trucks I was interested in. He took his time and informed me of the differences between a dually & a single rear wheel truck. Ryan was very friendly, I felt very comfortable with him. He was also very helpful setting up my stereo system/ connecting it to my cell phone! I will definitely want Ryan to help me when I come back for my next truck. More
I was seriously considering buying a Ford F150 from this dealership. I had already taken a test drive, picked out one that I liked, and was ready to negotiate. However, when I brought up the fact that I was going to also compare prices with another dealer, the employee became extremely defensive and pushy. This became even worse when I mentioned (nicely) my apprehension due to bad reviews I had heard from friends and coworkers. After boasting and braging about Ricart being the number one dealer in both Ohio and West Virginia (because I guess he thought I cared), he literally told me to take my business elsewhere and hung up on me. He actually hung up on me before I could say a word. I do want to say, I MAY understand this behavior if I was being rude in any way. I was merely mentioning my fears and was hoping he could prove that they had a better customer service than I had heard from others. Instead I received extremely inappropriate, unprofessional, and rude service. If I could solely leave a bad review for this one employee, that is what I would do. However, I think he reflects poorly on the entire company. I think I will take his advice and will go ahead and "buy from a ma and pa" dealership. More
I built and priced a Ford Focus online and landed myself on a particular car I found at Ricart. I did my credit app and worked the numbers over the phone. I drove 3 hours to get to this dealership. When I arrived it was to be a done deal (sign and drive). I found a dent in the passenger door which they said would be easy to fix. The Tronny and Doug argued with me and my wife about the dent's visibility. After about 45 minutes of waiting they brought the car back. I asked to drive it and was responded to with a reluctant attitude. While driving the dashboard rattled with every line on the road. When we arrived back at the dealership, we noticed the dent wasn't completely gone but had a rippled appearance. My wife and I left the lot to talk about the situation and came back later. They offered the pro-tec protection system to me for $495 instead of $1895 for compensation for the dent. I told them no. I also informed them of a local dealership that came in at almost $1000 cheaper on the out the door price for the same car. Doug McFarland, reached out his hand to shake and said, "I guess we don't have a deal. Have a nice day." I spent an entire day for a supposed done deal and then turned away 7 hours later. They supposedly offer $1000 if they can't beat their competition. They didn't attempt to fix the situation, beat their competitor, or even try to be honest. This is my first experience here and will be my last. I was already landed, price negotiated, and ready to sign. How do you mess that up? More
Overall, our experience was simply pleasant. No high pressure sale and we got the customer service that I haven't seen ever at a car dealership.
