Salesman did a great job showing all features of Explorer. The whole process went smooth and we had no issues completing the sale. The salesman synced our phones before we left and showed us how to Explorer. The whole process went smooth and we had no issues completing the sale. I was not greeted when I walked in and had to ask someone for help. A gentleman in tie introduced me to Dan and it was a great experience from then on. I explained to Dan that I was looking at either a For for help. A gentleman in tie introduced me to Dan and it was a great experience from then on. I explained to Dan that I was looking at either a Ford Explorer or F150. We walked around and looked at the different models and options. I also told Dan that I had a trade-in that I was currently still paying on and wanted to come in at my currently monthly payment or under with the same features. I can saw that we accomplished that goal and I went home with a new 2014 Explorer XLT. Dan was very great to work with and so was the finance officer (Sean). I would definitely recommended Ricart Ford and especially Dan Atherton. More
We went to Ricart Ford to turn in a Leased vehicle that was coming up for turn in or exchange. We also wanted to trade in a truck we had financed elsewhere to try and get one vehicle with one payment. Th was coming up for turn in or exchange. We also wanted to trade in a truck we had financed elsewhere to try and get one vehicle with one payment. The experience that we had was absolutely amazing!! Such kind and considerate employees. The interaction we had with Melissa Figgins was professional and truly a wonderful experience. Chane Collins made the signing of our documents easy and very understandable. They were able to accommodate us while keeping our payment where we needed it to be. I would recommend Ricart Ford to anyone wanting to purchase a new or used vehicle!! More

Josh Rice was fantastic. Great guy, really knows how to talk to people, not pushy at all but makes a good sale - he's got great qualities. I really appreciated the way he went about business - you really talk to people, not pushy at all but makes a good sale - he's got great qualities. I really appreciated the way he went about business - you really didn't feel like you were talking to a salesman. It was important for me to not be pushed and for someone to really take the time to make sure I got what I wanted, and Josh did an excellent job of that. Mike Kidwell was great as well - friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Buying Mazda, however, I feel like the product knowledge overall was not very good. It's clear that Richart doesn't focus too heavily on Mazdas - when I first went into the Mazda center, there wasn't a single person there to help me - the building was completely empty! I had this problem a few other times as well, I usually had to call the receptionist to get someone to come over. And again, the employees didn't seem to know all that much about the Mazdas. They were very knowledgeable on Ford, but I wasn't buying a Ford - I was buying a Mazda. Luckily I had done research ahead of time and knew exactly what I was after, and knew all the specs. Had I not known the specs going in, I would've found the lack of Mazda knowledge at Richart more frustrating. However, I did get a good price, which is what caused me to buy at Richart. That and Josh's friendliness and commitment to customer service. He really knows how to read people well and communicate with them effectively. Doug McFarland - he did give me the best deal on the 2014 Mazda 3 that I found in town. That being said, I didn't necessarily appreciate his attitude. When I was going over final price comparisons between Richart and German Mazda, he was upset by the fact I was doing this while at the dealership. I was offended by this - why should I not be able to compare prices while sitting inside a dealership? I understand he was trying to make a sale, but I wasn't asking much to be left alone to crunch some numbers. He acted like I was personally insulting him while doing it at Richart. Would Richart rather that I leave and crunch my numbers somewhere else? If I did, I may not have felt like driving back and you may have lost the sale. I think this is something that needs to be addressed, as I felt very unwelcome while doing this. This is what gives people a negative perception of dealerships - they feel pushed, rushed, and pressured to make a decision on a $20,000+ purchase. Which is ridiculous. Doug was the most negative factor of my Richart experience, though I did certainly appreciate the price he worked out for me. If he hadn't been so adverse to me wanting to go over my numbers, I would have had a much more positive review to write of him. Overall, I would rate my experience as satisfactory. I feel if I was buying a Ford I would've had a much different experience - I think if Richart is going to sell Mazdas and other brands, they need to staff those centers with people who have knowledge about those particular makers. It's a very big deal, you want to be assured that the salesperson knows what they are selling. I knew what I was buying, but for other customers who didn't do their homework, this would be a very big negative and I can't see too many buying Mazdas and other brands at Richart until they address this lack of knowledge. Perhaps Richart should look into training certain employees on other brands so that there can be someone with specific knowledge on each of these brands. More
Being a previous customer, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I thought the days of the shifty cars salesman where days gone by, but Ricart dealership proved that was not the case. They disappointing experience. I thought the days of the shifty cars salesman where days gone by, but Ricart dealership proved that was not the case. They offer a vehicle on the Internet, and after three visits, and clear miscommunication between the sales mgr and salesman, I get screwed. Because they misquoted the price by $1000 due to who I financed my loan with, I had to just deal with it. When I tried to negotiate the price of the car down because of the $1000 finance increase, the sales manager made an inappropriate remark to my wife. At that point it was best to just leave and deal with it the next day with Ricart leadership. To my surprise the Internet price was changed that night and increased by almost $1500 within 12 hours. When I reached out to the person in charge, I believe he said he was the director. He said I waited to long and I should read the fine print on the rebates, they were covered. My wife has left multiple messages with Jim Moshier and to date has not returned any calls. We also used the online method to contact Fred Ricart, without any resolve. This dealership clearly did not care about the customer. I can assure Ricart of this, I oversee 1000 employees in the Columbus market, and if anyone asks about where to shop for cars, my answer will be anywhere, but Ricart. More
