Better than expected by a lot. I had a maximum that I could Afford. Pre-Owned had a car that fit in that budget. at less than Book Value. and only went over by $100.00 They told me I had a maximum that I could Afford. Pre-Owned had a car that fit in that budget. at less than Book Value. and only went over by $100.00 They told me up front what all was wrong and what I was going to have to budget for in the near future. none of it was Major a lock on the trunk that dose not work, due for brakes, tires and Oil Change. some scratches on the front plastic under the bumper where it scraped the curb block some time in the past. I was in a pinch for time and they got it to me when they had said they could. Rental Car Company took more out of my account than they had told me they were going to and it made my Check to Tobin bounce for $30. We got it straightened out. without any problem. I was in a pinch and they did me right. what more can you ask. More

Charged me for a repair but did not repair My headlights seemed to be pointed too far down and therefore a safety concern. Brought it in (bought my Acadia at Dan Tobin) and they said they fixed My headlights seemed to be pointed too far down and therefore a safety concern. Brought it in (bought my Acadia at Dan Tobin) and they said they fixed it, charged me $250 and I went home - in daylight. When I next left for work in the dark, the headlights were exactly the same. Brought it back to have them actually repair it and after they had it for awhile they called to say their machines indicated the headlights were actually aimed a little higher than they should be. I left with my car feeling bewildered. I then took it it a local mechanic and explained the situation, left my car and by the end of the day the headlights were fixed. He said that they had been pointed as far down as they possibly could be, that they were now fixed, and for the half hour of work it would be $45. Remarkably, they were fixed and I can now see properly when I drive in the dark. The only reason I gave 1 star instead of 0 to Dan Tobin is that the person I worked with at the front desk of the service department was very nice, courteous, and seemed to want to help. Unfortunately it doesn’t change the fact that I was charged for a repair that never happened and left with a car that was unsafe to drive in the dark - twice. More
