I went into Lithia very late on a Saturday evening, about 45 minutes before they were due to close and Jason and Al could not be more than gracious. They did everything they could to help me out and when I came back the following Saturday to make the purchase, they helped me out in getting me through the purchase, even with my own hassles. I used to think this dealership was mediocre at best mainly which is very unfortunate because I bought my car for an "x" amount of dollars there a few years ago. This visit changed my view. I brought my car in last Monday, May 21, 2012 around 11:30AM or so for an oil change and when I walked in, I was for the first time ever greeted by an employee of Caucasian decent dressed in a white dress shirt and black slacks and he told me he'll be with me in a min. After the wait (which wasn't long at all) he said, "Come on down, Sir." I smiled and told him I need an oil change. He looked up my info but struggled a bit. Turns out he was a new employee and that day was his first day so he was still getting used to the computer system. Then he asked for help and this woman (don't remember her name)well-dressed smiled said, "Welcome to Lithia, Sir" we'll find your info in just a second. She helped the "new guy" (don't know his name) and they found my info. He put the service tag on my rear-view mirror and said it would be about 30-45mins. I said no problem and played on my iPhone (go figure, eh?). Fifteen minutes later, a guy in black polo shirt named Jayme Mayfield came up to me and told me while they checked my tire pressure (Didn't know they even did that) and he said my front right tire has a nail in it. I was shocked and told him that explains why I've been inflating my tire about once a week. Worried about the cost, he said his crew will fix the flat free of charge and make sure all my tires are properly inflated. I told him thank you very much. He smiled and said, "No problem." I was reading a magazine and this other woman walked by to get something to drink and she saw me and she said, "Hello, Sir. How is your day going?" I smiled and told her just getting my oil changed. Then she shook my hand and introduced herself (forgot her name unfortunately) and said she works for the dealership as well but in a different dept. We chatted for a bit and I told her I bought my car here a few years ago. She said she's very happy to hear that and it was nice meeting me. Then she went back to work. Even an employee who wasn't serving me directly acknowledged me with a glowing smile and chatted for a few :) When my car was finished, Mayfield said went over my vehicle report and told me my car is in top shape, the oil has been changed, flat has been fixed, all tires have been properly inflated and they topped off all my fluids. I was surprised and asked even the fluids?? He smiled and said, "Yes Mr. Nelson. ALL of the fluids." I told him I've been getting my oil changed here for years and the service dept would say "We don't do that here." Mayfield stated we check everything under the hood and top off anything even if it's half-way filled. Mayfield added that things have changed here and so far it's been really good. I told him I agree. I told him I think this is unfortunately the first time I've ever received excellent customer service from the dealership. Mayfield said he's very sorry to hear that this was the first time receiving this kind of service regardless if I bought my car here or not. Mayfield went on to tell me that my tires will need to be changed sometime this summer and even had a service employee check my tire size. Then he gave me a good choice (kinda steep in price) of a set of tires that are designed to handle snow and sleet. I asked if he was the Service Supervisor and he smiled and said, "Supervisor or not, everyone treats everyone here and especially our customers with respect." I've never heard that before from anyone working customer service in any field. I know this is a lengthy review but I promised Mayfield I would make every effort to mention that he, the dept, the dealership and, of course, the service crew have done an excellent job with even the smallest detail of my visit. Thank you Mayfield, the new guy, the lady who helped the new guy, the lady who briefly chatted with me, and the service employee who went to check my tire size for such a great visit and service :) More

The salesman I dealt with was Al Whitaker. I instantly liked the way he handled himself with me. He was friendly and didn't put pressure on me at anytime during the buying process. He was professional and helped me choose the vehicle I was looking for. I appreciated his honest approach to selling cars and that relaxed feeling made the buying process very enjoyable. I also dealt with Steve Fox the new General Manger. He was outstanding and took care of all my needs. One of his strengths is communication and he kept me updated during the whole process with e-mails and phone calls. I feel the dealership is in good hands with Steve Fox leading the team. I will recommend this dealership to anyone that asks and steer them to Al Whitaker and Steve Fox to take care of them. Thanks for the great service. More

Jarod Kortman was also very helpful, and assisted in several stages of the process with an easy demeanor and confident, low pressure feel that helped me to continue shopping until I found the right vehicle for me. I set up an appointment to look at a pre-owned vehicle over the phone. Jason was on time and had the vehicle ready for s test drive. Alan was the fist person to greet us and just so happened to be the resident expert in minivans. He was genuinely friendly and very low pressure from the start. He was also a wealth of knowledge in this product and a great spokesman for it because he happens to own the specific vehicle we were buying! Alan came across as trustworthy and looked as if he really enjoyed his job. We were there a long time and with two small, at times cranky, children, yet he was gracious and polite and patient through the entire experience. I'm sure it was clear to him that we really wanted this vehicle and he managed to figure out a final price that was VERY fair. We drove away with HUGE smiles on our faces; completely pleased with the entire experience (minus the cranky children and the pressure building to get them home and not be able to finish the deal); and confident that we would highly recommend this Dealership and Mr. Whitaker to anyone. We also have since dreamed of the day that we get to go back to visit him and begin the process of buying one of those brand spanking new beautiful vehicles of theirs! 5 stars for this guy! More
