MAKE SURE YOU ARE FINANCING THE RIGHT CAR My husband and I brougth a 2013 Nissan Altima S model from them about 23 months ago. June 30, 2016 a tree from our neighbors yard fall on the car. T My husband and I brougth a 2013 Nissan Altima S model from them about 23 months ago. June 30, 2016 a tree from our neighbors yard fall on the car. The car was a total loss. We filled the claim with auto insurance they paid then gap paid and the difference of the extended warranty paid. Well guess what we still owe the leader about 5000.00. To our suprise we find out that when the information was sent to the credit union to finance the body style was listed as a Altima SLI4 that mean this car was loaded sunroof, bose premier stero system and leather seats. Well guess what i had none of them. I asked the credit union to send me the information they were sent about the car so when i received it the price of the car was over 24,000.00. When the insurance company settled they only settled for 13,000.00 because the vin # matched the car i really had. So i call Reidsville Nissan and to say the lease they are not wanting to take any responsiblity for this they are trying to get the gap insurance company to help with the balance. Thats fine but my questions is what about the amount of the payment we have paid for 23 months, that was for a SLI4 not the S model. I will NEVER send anyone to Reidsville Nissan again. I would love to see a copy of the check they received from the credit union because i know someone made BIG money off that deal. I will be contacting a lawyer to advise me on what i should do. Before i close the finance manage is rude and telling me that he has sent my file to the higher up and someone will contact me i asked for a name and he would not give it to me meanwhile we have to keep making payments on this car we no longer have. More
