I was unaware in a timely manner that the incentives would be expiring on end of July. Forced me to settle things a bit quicker than I preferred. Due to poor communications between the sales and finance depts., all additions that I had agreed on were not on the vehicle on the day scheduled for pick up. It took an add'l week to order/receive/install the parts. Was blindsided by the problem/cost of installing a Level 2 charger at my home. Suggest that when someone is shopping for an EV the dealerships have someone that can discuss this area and possibly send an expert to project site. Fortunately, I am very much enjoying my new IONIQ 5, so all the problems will gradually fade away. At least until the lease period elapses and I decide to purchase the vehicle, and the dealership tries to charge me more than the agreed to amount. However, if you need to follow up no one is available, they always direct you back to your sales representative Joseph Del La Rosa “JD” who doesn’t appear to have set hours so good luck with getting back with them. JD offered to put my front license plate on a few days later since it was late and technically they were closed; yet about 4 weeks after purchasing the car it still hasn’t been installed. I can’t even get in touch with JD and looking at the mount they provided it doesn’t appear to be the right holder so when I went to pick up my registration I inquire. However, again they directed me to JD, but after standing there for about 20 min they realized he must have left for the day. Lastly, before driving off with the vehicle initially JD offered complimentary window tint as a thank you for coming back to purchase the car with him months later. Obviously, that wasn’t true because I’ve followed up multiple times, left voicemail, sent text messages and nothing, so I’ve caulked it up as that was a lie. More

I had a faulty trunk latch, which resulted in continuous cycling of the trunk open warning light and draining of the car battery.
