This dealership is not what it seems. Scott was great and we could have and should have been able to close the deal in 1.5-2 hours. Instead I was made to wait for two other financial/salesmen to sell me additional coverage) and/or protection. able to close the deal in 1.5-2 hours. The first was $4000 worth of protection against rust corrosion, undercoating, etc. After exhaustive and sometimes ridiculous persuasive tactics (a $500 discount because I had been in the Peace Corps) I agreed to pay $950 rather than the $4000. I refused, more than once to the second salesman for the additional $3000 package. I left after 4.5 hours more than a bit exhausted (I am 83). So many friends have said I should have gone with their husbands and this would not have happened. Two days later I talked with Scott about the pressure, the attitudes, my exhaustion with the process, etc. He immediately reversed the process related to the $950 extra charges for work I didn't really want. There is no reason for the 4.5 hours it took to buy my new car. I bought from this dealership as my last car was bought there and because of the outstanding excellence of the Service Dept, so kudos to Scott and your service department. More
