Excellent I was referred to Michael Burnside at Ray Catena Jaguar by a coworker. The second I walked in to Jaguar and asked for Michael he immediately helped me I was referred to Michael Burnside at Ray Catena Jaguar by a coworker. 2 Jaguars in 1 week I went with my son to pick up his new Jaguar F Type "R" that he purchased from Ray Catena. His sales consultant was Michael Burnside and he was an a I went with my son to pick up his new Jaguar F Type "R" that he purchased from Ray Catena. His sales consultant was Michael Burnside and he was an absolute gentleman to my son during the entire transaction. I was in no rush to get a new vehicle for my wife who has been driving a Mercedes benz and never considered a Jaguar sedan. My son definitely pushed me to get my wife a new car and I honestly only when ahead with the deal because I felt Michael did take care of my son with his purchase. My wife was very particular on colors and Michael assured me he would get us what we wanted and sure enough he was a man of his work. I am in sales myself and I believe in communication, honesty and complete transparency and Michael did all the above with perfection. So now we have 2 Ray Catena Jaguars in my driveway and you can bet I will tell them about my flawless experience at Ray Catena and who they MUST work with so they can be as thrilled as we are. Michael Marinelli was the consultant recommended to us by Mike Liptak in Ray Catena's Porsche Parts Department, and that's who we came to see. The moment we walked through that door, the Porsche receptionist asked how she could help while offering us a beverage of our choice; impeccable. While Michael was out at that moment, we were greeted by Eugene Tsukanov who promised to take care of us while we waited for Michael. Eugene gave us a crash course on the models we were interested in, showed and started a few of the cars as requested. My wife, though, lusted for the F-Type...off we went to see Alan Burnside by recommendation. Reception on the Jaguar side was equally immaculate. Janet, the receptionist, offered us beverages, perhaps a test ride in a beautiful English accent; treated as if we were royalty. Then Alan Burnside appeared. This man was like a long lost favorite Uncle; warm, genuine, debonair...an American 007. He showed us a few F-Types, a couple of XKs, talked to us at length about what we were looking for and answered LOTS of questions with unflappable patience. We learned a lot which helped in making a decision much easier. At no point did we feel ANY pressure or insincerity; this was EXACTLY the experience we were looking for — Alan was a gentleman of a forgotten time. He invited us over to his office, we sat, talked numbers, cars, options, and the like while casually interjecting a few off topic subjects. This man became a member of our family that afternoon. It took two more days of meeting with Alan; we were still undecided about committing to an F-Type and had yet to test drive one not because we weren't offered, but because we weren't ready — again, no pressure from Alan to get us in a test drive. He spent hours with us despite the fact that we could've walked away at any time...no questions. The third day, Alan, patient as always, asked if we'd like to take one out for a test drive...we did, Rio Wisbert was our guide, and the decision was made on the spot. Alan took us to the storage facility to see a few F-Types my wife was interested in, and she chose one. We went back to his office, Alan educated us on the leasing process since it's been two decades that we've leased, and got the paperwork in order. A day later, the deal was done, the car was prepped, and we were ready to go. Alan delivered the car as if he was the owner of the dealership; tremendous pride was taken in every step of the process. We were so very impressed by Alan; from day one we were treated with not only the kind of respect reserved for heads of state but also as if we were family. He introduced us to his son and General Manger, Jonathan Burnsides, who clearly picked up on the long last art of gentlemanly behavior from his father...class act. This WAS a family run business; about as "mom and pop" as you can get and we yearn for this kind of feeling in any situation involving a purchase. Ray Catena's enterprise is ENORMOUS, and still, the service was as if this was his sole dealer with only a handful of employees. What an experience. Alan and Jonathon...we cannot thank you both enough for what was THE best experience we've ever had in making a purchase of ANY kind, you made us feel fantastic. You have our business for the rest of our lives — and we mean that. This is how to run a business and treat people...you guys nailed it. Put the kettle on, we're spending our week at Ray's. More
Apprehensive Browsers, Now Happy Jaguar F-Pace Owners I was in the market for the new Jaguar F-Pace SUV, and a search on the Jaguar Website brought me to Ray Catena of Edison. I was very apprehensive abou I was in the market for the new Jaguar F-Pace SUV, and a search on the Jaguar Website brought me to Ray Catena of Edison. I was very apprehensive about returning to Ray Catena, as our previous experience with the Land Rover side three years ago was not encouraging. But the emails I received from James Mull were welcoming, so we decided to give Ray Catena Jaguar a chance. We were treated warmly and respectfully by James, his associate, Danny (who took us on two test drives with a F-Pace Diesel and F-Pace gas models), and Craig Sirota, the manager. James took the time to go over every option on the F-Pace, and patiently explained all of the intricacies of the leasing program to us. James even found the right color and options of the F-Pace that I wanted right in the Catena inventory! Perfect!! I'm delighted with my F-Pace diesel, and very happy with the sales experience that we received from James. I've already recommended James and Ray Catena to others! Thanks for all of your help, James!! More

I was greeted by a pleasant woman at the front entrance and she said she would get someone to help me out. I went in with interest in a Jaguar XE. There was an XE in the showroom and Alan Banjany came over while I was looking at it. I had already been to several other dealerships in the region over a couple months to get a good feel for the car and I must say the overall assistance and willingness to help really shined at Ray Catena Jaguar in Edison. After a few questions Alan said he would bring around a 20T Diesel for me to test drive since that was the model I was showing interest in. It was fairly late in the evening and they were about an hour from closing but I never felt rushed or pressured. We completed the test drive and sat down and discussed the available cars and my needs. Since I wasn't able to see the car that I ended up being most interested in since it was in a different lot he asked if I could come back the next day and he would have it here. It was ready when I arrived. The whole sales team including Dan(DM) were very helpful in answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable with the whole process. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a Jaguar to add this location to your list of places to car shop. More
