Customer Service Sealed the Deal With a very unique situation of a long distance, international marriage, we knew shopping for a car wouldn't be easy. My husband, who is from (and liv With a very unique situation of a long distance, international marriage, we knew shopping for a car wouldn't be easy. My husband, who is from (and lives in) England, and also works around the world, isn't in the country a lot, and often times when he is it's without any sort of notice. When we decided it was time for a new vehicle, we knew that shopping for it would be tough. After inquiring online, and getting in touch with James Mull, we got all the information we needed and then some. All the way from in England, we were able to narrow down our SUV options, so that I was able to come back to Jersey and test drive them to see which I like best so that when Mark was back we'd be ready to buy. I made an appointment with James, knowing that it could be anywhere from weeks to months until we were ready to buy. After explaining the situation to other dealers, they turned their nose up to me, and were less than interested in answering my questions or concerns. My mom and I (she came to the test drives with me) felt completely welcome and taken care of at Ray Catena of Edison, even though it was never in the plans to leave with a car. They took us on a test drive of multiple vehicles, and answered all the questions I had from both me and my husband. James sat there and ran the numbers, even though I made it clear that I wasn't doing anything until my husband came back. Well, we were SO blown away with the customer service, felt SO comfortable with the knowledge that James would take care of anything we needed, that through spotty cell service, thousands of miles away, my husband and I decided to get the car that day, on the spot. He still has yet to see or drive the vehicle, but is very happy with the purchase nonetheless, and can't wait until he's back in Jersey to drive it himself. We are beyond pleased with our 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, and with the customer service James Mull provided. We would recommend Ray Catena Jaguar in Edison to anyone and everyone, without a doubt. I have never had such an incredible car buying experience, and know we will be repeat customers for sure! Thanks again!!! More

One of a Kind I found myself in the position of having to change car companies due to new styles. I have dealt with the same salesperson and company for many years I found myself in the position of having to change car companies due to new styles. I have dealt with the same salesperson and company for many years and was very upset to have to move on. The Jaguar Xe seemed to have all that I required but I was very hesitant about the company due to past dealings. I began my search hoping to get it done in a week or so. I spoke with Vincent Gambardella, who listened and assisted me in my search of a car that I really wasn't sure of but had the upgrades I required. I wasn't set on my exact price and model and told Vinny I would be in touch and to keep me in mind if anything popped up that he thought I would like. I continued to get calls and visit other dealerships to convince myself( my current lease was up and I needed to make a decision).The other dealerships were a disgrace to the brand. I received ridiculous phone calls over and over again from the same salesman asking the same questions. One dealership tried to sell me a car with the wrong rims and wheels, another- a new car which actually was used. 2 months later.... I had just resigned to the fact that I would stick with my current lease and extend it , when Vinny called. He remembered everything I said and had a car for me. I gave him a hard time due to what the other dealerships had put me thru- but Vinny's sense of humor and patience won me over. I drove to Ray Catena very reluctantly assuming I would get the same old awful customer service Jaguar has made me accustomed to. I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was everything just as Vinny discussed on the phone, he worked with me on all my additional inquiries and requirements. He really was a pleasure to deal with and is still working with me throughout my new ownership registration process. In addition, the entire crew at Ray Catena seemed to work together which also set it apart from the other dealerships. When Vincent and I had a scheduling conflict, another salesman Michael Barreiro happily and very kindly took care of me on Vinny's behalf. It was so refreshing to see a place work together for the good of the customer. Michael was a pleasure to deal with and had everything all set up for me as Vinny had promised. My compliments to Ray Catena and I wholeheartedly recommend Vincent Gambardella as a salesman. He restored my confidence in a brand that I had all but given up on- and he did it by making me laugh and smile through the whole process! Thanks Vinny😊 More

On delivery the car is NOT prepared at all If you have a choice just STAY AWAY from Ray Catena to save yourself pain of dealing with them. UPDATE Got a call from the dealership, just as utterly useless as the service. not a single question what the issues are... basically the vibe I was left with after the conversation was "...if you are dumb enough to come back we don't really care" More
