You’d think, growing up in an environment where there was a garage, grease, gears, and grunt work were mainstay, I’d a picked up more than I did. I was more into driving the old hot rods than building them. I like guitars. Let’s face it. The Telecaster in Crossroads (film circa 1986. Not the Brittany Spears one.) was just as sexy as any bitchin Camaro possible. Anyhow, I digress. Rath Auto/ Meineke. Towson Avenue in Fort Smith Arkansas Has been my go to resource for tires, oil changes, and whatever else for at least the last three years. They make appointments AND KEEP THEM, they are truly honest (that part I did learn from my father growing up). Also their service facility is state of the art. Many many many years ago, the auto sales part of the facility used to be a major dealership for mass produced autos and it was the first address in Fort Smith I recall my father working at in Arkansas as a mechanic. In a nutshell, nostalgia brought me there. Tony the Tiger GRRRRRRRREAT service will keep me coming back. As long as I’m still driving. These guys are the guys. The auto sales part is great too. Sexiest car lot and inventory I’ve seen. My advice… go and get your oil changed and experience it for yourself. And maybe… If you’re lucky (like I’d like to be)… have you’re service done and also drive off in a super sweet hot rod. They have a lot to choose from. More
