We ended up paying cash for our 2025 Explorer Platinum because the finance manager was an absolute jerk. In fact we had an argument and as we got up to leave he harassed me all the way to the door. We ended up returning to buy the car but only because we could buy it in cash and were reassured the finance manager wouldn’t get any part of it. Also, we have 800+ credit but the dealer ran our credit FOUR TIMES over a two day period and also had four lenders also make credit inquiries. This many inquiries lowered our credit rating and I believe it was because of either incompetence or it was deliberately done to lower our credit score so that they could justify a higher run interest rate. The only reason this isn’t a one star is because Chad and David in sales were really nice guys and improved the situation. More
Most of the people that work at LINCOLN dealership are great people . The service people have no idea what they are doing . Took my Lincoln there for service for 7 years . No other people (other than a f great people . The service people have no idea what they are doing . Took my Lincoln there for service for 7 years . No other people (other than a fixed tire one time) touched it . From 2022 to 2024 every time I took my car in, I remarked how my engine coolant was down in the reservoir all the time . There wasn't any leaking under the car it just disappeared . I had bought coolant three times to add to the low reservoir . I even gave them an almost full container and had them flush entire system . Every time I was assured that all was fine with the car . Until it wasn't, of course . The car was NC inspected in MAY 2024 with an all okay ! Three weeks later the car would barely run . Returned to dealer service and was told would need a new engine, $9000 cost, because coolant was leaking into engine cylinder chamber . So now I know where that coolant was disappearing to for 2 years . Advice for others , don't get your vehicle serviced at this dealer . More
