I bought my new Tahoe at this location and have had all service completed here for the last two years. Usually it is a good experience, except for this time. I took my vehicle in for a regular oil change/t service completed here for the last two years. Usually it is a good experience, except for this time. I took my vehicle in for a regular oil change/tire rotation and also explained to them that there was an issue with the window washing fluid not holding and the rear not spraying. They had my vehicle for 6 hours, charged me for diagnostics and said the problem was all fixed. As soon as I drove off the lot the rear spray still did not work and a day later the fluid was completely empty. I took more time off work to schedule another appointment for an issue they already said was fixed and paid for. They said they ran diagnostics for 2 hours and ended up flooding my car with standing water through the carpets all to discover a hose was disconnected. Why was this not discovered during my original visit? Why would they not check all hose connections prior to putting fluid through the lines? All in all they connected the hose to fix the problem. Upon pick up they tried to charge me $300+tax for additional work that they told me was done and completed the first time. I will not be going back to this location or giving them any more of my business. They essentially lied to me on the first visit, charged me for it, then made me come in again days later for the same problem to try to charge me double what it cost for the first lie. The service manager was not present at the location during this time and I have called three times in the past 24 hours with no answer or call back. More
We’ve got a HUGE PROBLEM with the Commercial Fleet department here at Randy Marion. Our 26ft box truck was towed to their repair shop weeks ago. The truck lost power and would not start, so I suspec department here at Randy Marion. Our 26ft box truck was towed to their repair shop weeks ago. The truck lost power and would not start, so I suspected it was the alternator, which I specifically told Paul the service consultant. The suspected alternator issue was documented on the invoice as well, which I’ve attached pictures of. Today 7/11/23 we were told the truck was ready and we could come pick it up. We are not local, so we had to drive over an hour to pick it up. Once we arrived I was given a $4500 repair bill and was told my truck was tested and driven, and it’s good to go. We drove the truck off the lot and we got 2 miles down the road and the truck lost power, and wouldn’t start. This is the SAME ISSUE the truck had before bringing it to Randy Marion, which we were told that $4500 repair bill fixed! We pulled off the highway to a gas station and I immediately called Paul at Randy Marion to get this truck fixed (for the same issue I thought was fixed). They sent a tow truck and had it towed back to their service center. Once we got back I was told that the truck couldn’t be fixed today because they didn’t have an alternator in stock. The parts they charged me to “fix” were just replaced a month prior by another repair facility. I truly feel that this dealership made fraudulent repairs to create this large bill. I literally brought the truck in for an alternator repair, and I was stuck with a $4500 repair bill and a truck that is still broke down! How can a dealership of this size be this negligent? I own a logistics company, and I have a fleet of trucks. With this truck being down for 3 weeks I missed out on over $15,000. Not only is my truck STILL AT THEIR REPAIR SHOP, IM OUT $4500 IN xx REPAIRS THEY CLAIMED THAT FIXED THE ISSUE, ANOTHER REPAIR BILL ON TOP OF THE $4500 AND I LOST MY CONTRACT ON THIS TRUCK! I advise ANY BUSINESS OWNER to proceed with caution when bringing their commercial vehicles in for repairs to this dealer. There’s clearly incompetent service techs working on your vehicles! Review the attached invoice where it clearly stated that the alternator needed attention. I’ve been running trucks for years and this is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a repair shop! Double check behind this company if you must use them! I highly recommend going somewhere else! More
