They kept me there for 5 hours before finally giving me the agreement I made online, even with screen shots showing I had a non binding agreement. Not honoring that would have been a bait and switch. 2. I bought my car on a Wednesday, they delivered it on Thursday. Friday I get a phonecall that the car I was interested in is still available. That's interesting, considering the car was sitting in my driveway, purchased already. 3. A few days after purchasing the vehicle, though I did my due diligence in looking over the car, I noticed the bumper was popped out a little. I took it back to them and they tried to insinuate over and over that I either hit something or someone hit me, perhaps while parked somewhere. I had to talk to the "big boss" to get them to take care of it. He apologized and let me know people have been trying to get over on them so they have to be cautious. After his inspection he acknowledged that the clamps were either broken or missing, but there was no evidence of any impact (just like I had said in my defense) and that he was sorry. The was also touch up paint on the bumper from where they had prepped the car for selling- so my question is-what happened to this car before selling, because there were no reported accidents. 4. Once they agreed to fix the bumper, they asked me to bring it back the following week so their bumper specialist can look at it. Thankfully, they let me use a loaner vehicle while they serviced my bumper. They never called to let me know the work was finished so after a couple of hours, I returned to the shop on my own, only to find out my car had been ready for some time and was parked outside in the hot sun. All the people I had been working with had left. You can see the scratches on the bumper and headlight from where they wrestled with it and they didn't even have the courtesy to wipe off the bumper they had just serviced. I had also asked if they would touch up a tiny spot on the headlight where they had scratched the paint when they inspected my bumper the first time. It is about the size of the head of a thumbtack. Sure, no problem they said. But of course the paint was still chipped when i picked it up. Now I have to ensure it doesnt fleck off even more. 5. Maybe I expect too much. I'm 53 and have purchase many vehicles in my lifetime. Never have I EVER taken my car to a dealership for service and they didn't run it through the wash before pickup. 6. Lastly, Every car I've ever purchased, new or used, had either a full tank of gas or a gas card, first fill up free. This one was delivered with a little over half a tank, and no complimentary gas card. Maybe this is what customer service looks like these days. Maybe I want too much for my hard earned dollars. Regardless, I will NEVER again buy from or refer anyone to Randy Marion Buick GMC Truck, Huntersville NC! My WHOLE experience sucked. More
