I made the unfortunate decision of buying a used car from the dealership and was met with lies and hidden damage in the car. The carfax showed a water leak check done at the dealer so we asked to confirm there was no issue and were guaranteed there were no issues. Now months later the headliner is destroyed due to water damage from the sunroof drains and the rear center console was completely cracked on the inside. I worked with the customer service manager but upon trying to get the issues resolved my calls and messages were ignored and never returned. Save yourself the hassle and buy a car somewhere else that takes care of their customers. More
Warning about doing business with this dealership.... I purchased a car from them last week. My sales person and I both walked around the car and checked for issues/damage/etc before I test drove the car; purchased a car from them last week. My sales person and I both walked around the car and checked for issues/damage/etc before I test drove the car; neither of us saw any defects. After completing the sale, they took the car for a wash and gas. As soon as the car returned I rushed outside to empty my traded vehicle and transfer my car seats to the new vehicle as the sky was darkening and threatening rain. It starting down-pouring as I was about 5 minutes into the processes of transferring my belongings. Several dealership employees were outside as the rain began (talking and watching as I was making the transfer) - not one single employee offered to help me. (I know they didn't have to, but when they saw me struggling with very large car seats, they could have been courteous and asked if I needed help.) The rain increased and thunder and lightening started. It was no longer safe for me to be outside the vehicle so I hurried with the transfer and got in the car to drive home. When I arrived home and upon exiting the vehicle, I noticed an extremely large wound in the sidewall of the tire and a large scrape on the wheel. I immediately sent a picture to my salesperson and said this wound was not there when we walked around the car. The salesperson texted me back and agreed that was not there upon our inspection of the vehicle. I asked if maybe the staff hit a curb or object when they took the car for a wash and/or fuel. The salesperson committed to checking with the staff and seeing what could be done. I just heard from the sales person that since I didn't see it prior to leaving they were not going to repair the tire/wheel (basically saying - yes, we knew it was there, but you didn't catch us so too bad for you). I wouldn't recommend anyone doing business with a dealership that damaged a car and didn't tell owner. I am sure they were very thankful for the rain and lighting as it prevented me from walking around the car before leaving the lot. I am saddened that this business chooses to work in such a dishonest and shameful manner. More

Since my time is limited and there are so many dealerships and vehicles to choose from, I typically like to start comparing prices on the internet within a 100 mile range. You will find similar prices throughout the industry, but most dealers are happy to negotiate especially with repeat customers! After sending out inquiries to multiple dealerships, i was floored when i received the price breakdown, with all of the ridiculous fees included in the Randy Marion price! Their GM certification is $390 more than other dealers! Misc repairs 1300? They charge a repair fee to prep the vehicle for sale? Resist all fee $800? Then tax all of these fees!.... Then admin fees and sales tax! This is all before I've even made into the closing! There's no telling how many more fees you may incur by then! I would have been happy to continue business with them but this style of business and marketing is insulting and deceptive! Patrick More
I am done trying. After being told by many close acquaintances of mine that Randy Marion was a great dealership to go through with purchasing a new car, I cannot agree After being told by many close acquaintances of mine that Randy Marion was a great dealership to go through with purchasing a new car, I cannot agree at all. Specifically one acquaintance told me that they had listed the wrong price for the car and honored it for her anyway. That made me excited to do business with such a great dealership, because I am purchasing my first car. However, everything was a mess and totally false advertisement on their website. After looking at a car that they have had on their lot for already 9 months now, it has been in an accident prior, and it is listed for $13,900. They wanted to tell me they could not even budge the price, and on top of that out the door the price went up almost completely $4,000 and had a grand total of $17,497. Not to mention I had to continue to contact them to even try to work out a deal and get information on this car. Also, the website states specifically "All prices are plus tax, tag and doc. Fee", obviously that is a huge lie and false advertisement. So do not believe any of it and definitely do not waste your time, I am done wasting mine. They were friendly, however I had to reach out to them after not hearing from them when you think someone is interested in a car you would try to sell it to them. Especially not honor what you have stated on your website and try to add almost $4,000 to the price. Ridiculous. More

But, dealing with Kayla and William at Randy Marion Buick GMC was an easy, pleasurable experience. I found the Sierra truck I was searching for and they made the deal happen. They went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied down to the smallest of details. I would certainly do business with these people again! More

I had earlier see dealership photos of the vehicle on their website. The salesperson later referred me to speak with their General Sales Manager William L. After speaking with him, I decided to drive 65 miles to look at the vehicle and to have my vehicle appraised. Upon arrival the vehicle was parked in front of the dealership. However the vehicle did not have a bed top as shown in the photographs. I had also mention this option as well as another option when communicating with William L. on the internet. Obviously I was a bit upset to see the top missing and when I asked the salesperson about it, she responded that it must have been taken off. She went inside and brought the Sales Manager William L. outside to meet me. William L. stated that he was unfamiliar with the vehicle having a top as the vehicle had only been on the lot for a few days. Even though I starting looking at the dealership photos three weeks prior. Willian L. was unwilling to reduce the price for the missing top or to replace a the missing top. All he could do was give me an apology and offered me the same price listed when the truck had a top. I told William L. that I drove a long distance for nothing and that this was xx. I thought he should have reduced the price to cover the missing top (@ $1000) or put a top on the truck so it would be priced as advertised. I think this was a poor demonstration of a large dealership as Randy Marion. I hope that the General Manager or Owner attempts to insure that this doesn't happen again with another customer. Naturally I departed with no further exchange of words. More

North Carolina truck purchase at Randy Marion Huntersville Had a work trip scheduled in Charlotte and decided to try finding a good rust free used truck while I was in town. It was almost 8pm before I finally Had a work trip scheduled in Charlotte and decided to try finding a good rust free used truck while I was in town. It was almost 8pm before I finally got to the dealership. The ones I had seen on-line were already gone but two similar trucks were available. Test drove both that night, decided on the lower mileage one. John R. was very helpful while I has at dealership, gave me the Carfax report to read. Helped me return the rental car and put a full tank of gas in the truck before I left. Damon in Finance was great as well. Helped get me financed as an out of state buyer - got me a great rate. Seems like they have a lot of out of state sales. I would recommend both these guys to anyone. I knew I was not going to get a cheap truck, my goal was a one owner North Carolina truck with modest miles. I did not have days to make a deal, so we had to get it done quickly. Drove the truck 500+ miles home that day - no problems. Excellent condition of the truck for the year. Wife likes it as well. My Best Advice: "Read the Carfax Report". Could not believe the number of trucks from up north - Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York... Just because the truck is in NC, does not mean it has been there its entire life. I'd say half the trucks I found where thru the auction process and not really from NC. Another 25% were multi-owner vehicles, so I was not interested. Really very few of them were original one owner trucks. Do your research, know what to look for and know what you can pay. Yes I would do it again. More

No one is perfect and things can be missed,What makes the difference in not being perfect is how you handle it. After contacting Steve Sowers with my concern he had John Raila bring me a loaner to my work and pick up the suv to have it checked out. A few days later William Lafon called to tell me what they had found and offered to fix the problem or trade it for another one. I decided I would trade it back in for another one. After 4 days of looking I found one on a different lot,John went up and brought it down for me to take a look at it.Steve John and William was quick to respond to any questions I had during this process. I went in on Saturday did the test drive, Damon and Steve did a great job explaing the whole trade in processing as that can get very confusing of only having the first SUV for 14 days.John Raila did a fantastic job on delivering the SUV that I picked out from the other lot.
