Easily the most stress-free car buying experience! Twelve years ago we were looking to purchase a Honda Odyssey. We drove 20 minutes North to Randy Kuehl Honda (a locally owned and operated dealership) in Cedar Rapids and purchased our Odyssey. Twelve years and 156,000 miles later, our car was still in great shape, but we wanted some of the safety and technological updates of a newer vehicle. We decided to give the local Iowa City dealership another chance since it had been over a decade since our last poor experience there. Different decade, same story, we were not impressed. We soon drove to Cedar Rapids to Randy Kuehl Honda again and met Chanin Dirks. There is just a completely different feel to walking into Kuehl Honda than any other dealership I have been to. No high pressure, no evasive answers, no sales gimmicks or game playing. Chanin was very professional, straight-forward, knowledgable, personable, and worked very hard to EARN our business. Randy Kuehl Honda is definitely a very customer-service driven dealership. The negotiation process was very fair and reasonable, and done mostly by email. After they trailered a vehicle in for us, I changed my mind at the last minute and decided to upgrade to a vehicle with a higher level option package. Chanin was very patient, helpful, and courteous throughout this process and were were again extremely satisfied with the negotiation process. If you are considering buying a Honda and can make the trip to Randy Kuehl Honda in Cedar Rapids it will be well worth your time. This car buying experience was about a smooth and stress-free as it gets! The next time we buy another Honda, we will skip checking out any other dealership. We made a deal with him within 45 minutes of walking in the dealership. We did everything else through email with Andy. They did not have the color we wanted but he was able to locate the vehicle within the same week. They are low pressure and were by far the best deal around. They don't have the extra overhead to pay for like some other dealerships. They operate a family operation and it feels like that through the entire experience. We'll definitely be back! More
