Overall, the experience of purchasing a vehicle with Randy Kuehl Honda was very smooth, efficient and straightforward. Their collective staff answered any questions I had, did not try and pull any "fast ones" or "sales gimmicks" to get my business and exuded professionalism throughout the process. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is because there was little to no room to negotiate any of the pricing of the vehicle (which is likely because the car was brand new), but mainly because the way some of the financing terms were worded to us initially. Example - When pricing was initially quoted, it was all built around monthly payment options and wasn't too straight forward about the total itemized expenses, interest tiers and how much you actually pay over the duration of the vehicle loan. We were able to figure all that out eventually (largely because of talking with Jason in Finance and crunching the numbers ourselves). Outside of that, working with Crazy Chris was a breeze. He is very nice and knowledgeable about Honda's down to most minuet detail, which was wonderful because you felt there was no question specific to the vehicle that he couldn't answer. I'll be curious how service department experience goes in the future in regards to vehicle maintenance, but for now, I'll say that we love the new vehicle, are glad we waited for it to arrive and would recommend our friends and family to work with Randy Kuehl Honda for their future vehicle needs. After having purchased our first CRV from Randy Kuehl Honda in 2013, we again went to the dealership when my wife decided to purchase another one. We ordered a 2024 hybrid from Crazy Honda Chris and cou Honda in 2013, we again went to the dealership when my wife decided to purchase another one. They told me they would have my car done in the afternoon and it was not done until the next day. This was not a big issue for me. But the dealership has a very poorly marked curb. While the curb meets minimum requirements for Iowa law by having signs warning of the curb, at a glance the signs look like no parking zone signs. Also they park cars that are for sale between the curb and the building. When walking toward the building you maybe looking at the car they are trying to sell and ignore the sign thinking you are not parked there so it does not apply to you. My 76 year old husband tripped and fell. I know they have had repeated problems with this curb as my daughter has also fallen. I have tripped several times. I have been told ambulances have been called to aid people who have fallen. In our society YELLOW is for caution. Why can't they mark the curb with yellow paint as other companies do trying to do extra things to insure the safety of their customer's and employee's. It is not a noticeable curb very low and gradual. In my own garage area I have a trip spot and I have sprayed painted it yellow. I want to make my place is as safe as I can make it for anyone who comes here. I would think Honda would want to make their dealerships as safe as they could for their customers. Even if it meant having to do a little extra such as purchasing and using a can of yellow paint. More
