Ms. Miller, We as a service team apologize for your latest visit and not being attentive to your concerns you are having with your new vehicle. Being able to accurately duplicate a customer complaint, so we can properly diagnose and identify a failed or defective part, can sometimes prove to be very difficult at times. American Honda provides us diagnostics to follow to identify these failed or defective parts based on the customers' complaint. If the tech gets through the diagnostic process, after following the American Honda process, and cannot identify a failed or defective part, American Honda requests to "return vehicle to customer". Speakers cutting out, is not the vehicle operating as designed. Duplication of this concern proved difficult during this visit. Your concern with "heated seats not working all the time", I believe is the complaint that John managed to answer, hopefully to your satisfaction. Please know that the technician does follow American Honda's diagnosis process in the appropriate service manual. Checking prospective areas of the system based on the service manual, is executed by the technician. If all aspects check "pass", no failure or defect is identified and the vehicle is returned to the customer. The issue with the vehicle's delayed shifting, I believe was the complaint not addressed, more than likely our inattentiveness during this visit. And finally lagging electronics. The technician again did follow American Honda's diagnostic process, checking for any stored diagnostic trouble codes in the vehicle's system. No diagnostic trouble codes were found. I hope we can be of further assistance to resolve your issues, and understand your position to not return based on your location and the way this visit occurred. I am sure we can work something out to make an additional visit more convenient for you. One possibility would be to pick up the vehicle from you to try to resolve these issues. I would be happy to speak with you directly to see if we can set something up to your satisfaction. Please reach out to me if you would like to make arrangements.
