They explained the problem, but it was misdiagnosed and then went from no problem to a $200 issue to a $1900 issue. I bought my vehicle there and have had all routine maintenance completed on time with you then went from no problem to a $200 issue to a $1900 issue. I bought my vehicle there and have had all routine maintenance completed on time with you and was told everything is good. I was told to follow the indicator on my vehicle for oil changes when I bought the vehicle, but "should use the sticker mileage" by your service department after the $1900 timing chain went bad. When I called numerous Honda dealerships trying to get the part they stated that the part that went bad should not go bad for at least 150K miles. I can understand if I hadn't been taking it in for something to go wrong, but I was and was told "everything looks good." I trusted the service department and followed the directions I was given when I purchased the vehicle there. I tried asking months ago about a problem with the light flickering, but was treated very disrespectfully by an employee because I called and asked if they could check it when I was bringing it in for the oil change and they said sure, but the employee said absolutely not when I got it there. Now, reflecting on it, that may have been an early indicator of the issue. This is not my field of expertise, so I want to trust whomever I take my car to and know they aren't trying to take advantage of my ignorance and being a female and I don't believe your dealership is a place that I can do that. More
