Hi Karen, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately with the Pandemic the DMV was very backed up which caused delays. We are extremely sorry for this however this was completely out of our control. It is company policy to charge for plates to be sent overnight. We would rather not send plates via courier because if they get lost, it’s the customers responsibility to get a police report and the go to DMV and pay for new ones. The issue is not the delay of the plates. The issue is, prior to Covid I was told the plates would be sent to me free of charge. FIVE months later, I am asked to pay for said plates and told this is a new policy instated by VOLVO and nothing can be done about it. Sales rep even stated if he paid to UPS them himself he could be terminated, another VOLVO policy. Don't make policies that create situations like these for your employees. If you promise to send plates to a client DO so. Doesn't matter what happened beyond your control. You failed to do the right thing that was within your control

I have purchased two cars from you guys in less than one year. XC40 and XC90. For you to implement these new "policies" and email a credit card request forms for UPS shipping of my plates is insulting. The rep knew he promised to send them to me. When the plates came in he didn't even tell me there was a charg to ship them- he said he'd send me a form so that the dealership would release the plates to me. This just shows how uncomfortable you are making your reps. Additionally, take a look at what you have promised your clients before you start making arbitrary policies to try and gauge your customers during this pandemic
