We have been searching for an affordable car to buy for the longest time. We went all over NJ, we went to NY but we weren't able to find what we were looking for. I'm not sure why we didn't go before. This place is great. Everybody who works here is extremely friendly and more than willing to help. Our sales consultant, Maximo Carela, knew exactly what we wanted and helped us through it all. He wasted no time and we were out of there in just two hours, more than happy with our purchase. Two hours may seem like a lot but at other dealerships, we were sitting down, waiting for paperwork after paperwork and employee after employee for hours. At Ramsey Nissan, however, it was a breeze. There was no pressure, no problems...even in the rain! It was actually a good time hanging with him. He went over all the details of the financing options very clearly and allowed me time to think about the various options I was considering. At no time did I ever feel rushed or moved-along in the process. When I went to pick up my car the next day, it was beautifully detailed and Jonathan sat with me, went over everything in the car, helped program my phone into the bluetooth system and showed me the best stations to check out on XM/Sirius. I can not say enough!!!!! They were wonderful!!!!!! I'd drive an hour to deal with them, it would be worth the trip!!!!! If I could rate them 10 stars I would. I went in very disgruntled and untrusting because of a very bad experience at a different car dealer(different brand) who roped me in promising me everything, to the point of taking a deposit which still has not been refunded. I always knew Pathfinders were great trucks but thought one would be out of our price range, I'm glad I went in, "just to see". We walked away with a beautiful new black pathfinder. Not only that, but they gave us their best price upfront and then continued to make it better. Let me explain.... My husband has multiply jobs, I do the shopping he signs the papers, it is a partnership, in a very traditional household I am his equal, I do not like hearing "bring your husband back" this is 2012, men and women should get the same price, I've been purchasing and leasing cars for 16 years and unfortunately that is still not always the case, IT IS AT RAMSEY NISSAN! Girls don't be afraid to shop there!!! You can leave your husband, boyfriend, and/or dad at home!! They are INFORMATIVE. ATTENTIVE, and HONEST. They take the confusion that goes hand in hand with high pressure sales out of the equation so that when they give you the numbers you aren't so confused you can actually think it through and know you haven't been rope-a-doped! I told them what I needed and what my finances were and they made it fit for us!! We were getting out of a lease where we exceeded our mileage by a lot than we even realized, and also made the mistake of not realizing we still had 3 months left, they discovered that for us, re arranged the game plan and came through big time, by buying our truck, absorbing the rest of the payments ending the lease early so we didn't continue to add more mileage, and did the entire process quickly and painlessly. Then, of course there is always the unexpected, as with many, our financial situation has changed, when we went through the financial process our credit wasn't what it had been, the interest rates went up (not their fault) which changed the final numbers which made the monthly payment impossible for us and again I don't know how they did it, but they came through big time! Jerry in finance was wonderful, sympathetic, and understanding. He treated us with dignity and respect. Lastly, once he made it possible for us to move forward, my husband was available for one hour and was heading out of town, I gave their staff less than four hours to take my truck back, get us approved, prep the new truck, bind the insurance and deal with the finances. They truly worked as a team, from start to finish, and got us out the door on time for my husband to get on a plane and for me to get home for the kids from school and get to work on time. One last note, Leo and Jose had asked me for a "wish list" within the first few minutes of meeting me on my first visit. I gave them a list of what I needed in the truck and pointing to my 42+ Lb. 3 year old, who is 43" tall, said, " I'd love running boards my back is killing me! " It was never mentioned again, and the truck that worked for us did not have them, when we went to sign the papers Jerry informed us that Jose had told him about my "wish list" and they surprised me by adding the running boards without me ever asking or haggling, no nothing, they were truly a gift!!! It's the little things (not so little option) that set them a part from all the other dealerships I had walked into. You feel like family, they help each other like family, everyone is friendly and happy. Let's face it a new car purchase/lease is a big deal they made it feel like a celebration they were truly happy that I was happy and that they'd helped me. It was not just about selling me a car. They did even more for us than I've explained but alas I'm writing a book. take the trip, go and see for yourself, if you visit them you WILL BUY FROM THEM! It was a relieve to see and speak to friendly RESPECTFUL people who want to make you happy and not their own pockets. I would recommend RAMSEY NISSAN to anyone and already have. “NICK” a sales rep. recommended on dealer rating site and by word of mouth gave me the BEST experience in purchasing a car I think I have ever had. Nick dose his due diligence to make you happy and comfortable with all your decisions and concerns i.e. he is a REAL PERSON. He is honest and truthful and is def. NOT the definition of a regular car salesman which whom I have had to deal with prior to coming to RAMSEY NISSAN. He dose not only sell you a car but gives advice and this TRUTHFUL personal opinion.
