It was in the computer when I checked in, but service advisor tried to sell me the "25,000 mil Made an appointment for an oil and filter change ONLY. It was in the computer when I checked in, but service advisor tried to sell me the "25,000 mile service" even though my car was well below that. Said NO, all I need is O&F change. Then tried to add on a tire rotation even though tires had been rotated by them within last 3,000 miles. They also use synthetic oil, even though maintenance manual does not specify it. And they still want me to come back in 5,000 miles for another O&F change. Synthetic is supposed to be good for 10,000 miles. More

There was no pressure or sales persuasion to sell us something more readily available and less than what we wanted. We appreciate Jimmy's resourcefulness and respectful demeanor in quickly locating the model and extras we wanted. We are very pleased with our new Camry XLE Hybrid. Jimmy Dochney at Ralph Hayes was not only very responsive but lived up to everything he said. We got a very reasonable deal on a great vehicle and, although we expected a few surprises when we visited the dealership to test drive and purchase, we were pleasantly surprised. They didn't pressure us into extras that we didn't need and honored everything that they committed to before we visited the dealership. We had to wait a little bit to see the person in financing, but once it was our time, they got us in and out with no hassle. We couldn't be happier and more pleased with Jimmy and our purchase at Ralph Hayes. More
Extremely Poor Service and Follow up - Worst experience ever I have been taking cars for service to dealers for service in for over 35 years in the various areas of the country(IL, IA, NY, VA, IN) that I have li I have been taking cars for service to dealers for service in for over 35 years in the various areas of the country(IL, IA, NY, VA, IN) that I have lived and I have never had such a poor experience like I had with Ralph Hayes. My son goes to University in the area and it was his car getting serviced, but I happened to be visiting so I dropped it off on the 15th at 1:00pm to check the brakes but mentioned I thought the wheel bearing may be going. I left car and was driven back to the university, later that day I had to call and check on after I was told they would call me. I was told that it was indeed the xxxx bearing and it was covered under my extended warranty(I purchased from the dealer in NY when we bought the car) but they had to argue with warranty company to get it covered(if in fact true, I thank them for that). Was told they did not have the parts required but they would be there for the 17th and car would be ready to go by end of the day and they would call when ready. Towards end of the day I had to call them to check again on it. I was told that it actually needed wheel bearings replaced on each side but they forgot to order the other side and now they could order it until Monday the 20th and the car would be ready by Tuesday the 21st and they would call when ready. I did get a call saying it was ready and for me to call back to make payment arrangements, I called back and set up the arrangements, the lady in accounts took my information and said she would have to call me back because she needed to check on something. In the middle of all this I was told by my service guy that he had to go home as he was ill. So the end of the day approaches and you guessed it no call so I call, they tell me that the warranty company sent them the wrong payment amount and that they couldn't release my car until they got that correct and that would take until Wednesday the 22nd. I have never had my car held at any time previous for covered warranty work while the dealer and warranty company figures out their stuff(maybe that is the way it works and the other dealers I have dealt with just had it all together) So I get a call on Wednesday saying car is ready that he worked on it from home while he was ill (I do appreciate this if true) and my son could come pick up and they would send someone to come get him when his schedule permitted (this is a nice service for sure). His schedule did not allow him to come get it until this Saturday the 25th at 1pm, so we called today the 24th to set it up and were told their resources on Saturday are low and they would have to check to ensure they could do it because they only have 1 guy doing that and call me back. Well 25 minutes before they closed for the day today I had heard nothing so I called them again and was told they could not do it and it would have to be Monday. As I explained to them that you have had this car since the 15th and this has been less then reasonable(not upset) for the first time I got attitude back(let me say to this point everyone had spoken to me very nicely) stating..."well we have had it available since late Wednesday"...really You had 7 days and now it is taking me 2 1/2 days and you are beginning to give me grief. To top it all off the service guy thought I was my son when he was speaking to me like this...I hope is was not because he thought he had a young person on the phone that he could take like this, I would think no matter the age a customer is a customer. We visited the dealer this summer while dropping of our son to ensure they would service the car and everything and at the time were overly assured that they were there to serve. Normally do not leave posts but felt I had to as this was an over the top experience. More

VERY, VERY... mad and upset about the fact that all my vehicle needed was air in my tire due to a low tire pressure and the guy who had serviced me said and recommended they would go ahead and check to see if there was maybe a chance there was a nail in my tire that could be causing the low pressure and of course i would let them check, so leaving my vehicle in their hands in their facility ( what i would recall the service manager saying ) they put air in my tire but in return of getting my vehicle back half of my rim was scratch. Went back and talk to the guy who had serviced me and he could not help with the situation due to the scratch on my rims, so he calls the services manager over, i have to say very very unfriendly and off the back rude!!!! All he could tell me was that his service guys did not do the damage to my vehicle and that their facility has no curbs over and over to make the damage on my vehicle...and said he will not pay to fix my rim but he did not even investigate to see who worked on my vehicle ,and for the manager to say i can fix the scratch at OUR price... I'm not paying out of pocket for something i didn't do!!!!! so upset about the situation that i just feel like because I'm a woman and you think i don't deserve the same respect you would give a man..maybe the outcome would have been different if it was a guy. So now I'm here stuck with a scratch rim... due to the fact of poor unprofessional service here at Ralph Hayes Toyota of Anderson SC !!!!!! More
