It was a very easy and fair transaction with no pressure or unnecessary negotiation. Mr. Filardo checked in with me from time to time just to make sure that all was well! A bit of extra customer service training would help with this employee. When we sat down and attempted to ask questions like the pay off timeframe of the loan, he acted constantly annoyed with any question this employee. In addition he refused to answer questions directly and when we asked a clarifying question he would only repeat the same thing again with an attitude and sigh loudly. Listen, we work in corporate America too and this behavior wouldn’t be tolerated by anyone in a service position. We never asked anything offensive or stupid (hello we are making a huge financial decision) and yet he went out of his way to act like a child in front of us. Oh and the best part was when I (a female) would ask a question, he would look at my husband and say “what about my answer didn’t she get?” Not only did he not adopt a customer service mindset but he was incredibly sexist. I will most definitely let people know that about his behavior and will not recommend working with him if you are a female looking to buy and finance a car. More
