Dealership service department success. Nothing is ever perfect especially with dealerships. But overall Pignataro VW has done very well. On Wednesday, I test drove a Honda Accord. The salesperson, Anthony, was very nice. Upon returning to the dealership, I was offerd the vehicle to test drive for the day. Then the manager came out salesperson, Anthony, was very nice. Upon returning to the dealership, I was offerd the vehicle to test drive for the day. Then the manager came out and asked for a $500 deposit to test drive the car to work and back. Reluctantly, I gave him two debit account cards (in otherwords, paid cash) from which he immediately WITHDREW $500. I returned the vehicle late afternoon on that same Wednesday and the manager took my two debit cards, saying he was going to credit them the $250 each while I went to look at cars with the salesman. When I returned, he handed me my cards and I thanked him and left, planning to return tomorrow to look at other vehicles. It's after the close of banking business on FRIDAY afternoon and I still have not received the money back in either account. When I called and asked Anthony to inquire about it, he said it takes a few days and it might not even be until Monday. Livid, I called the dealership and was told by Mike, in finance, that I should call my two banks and ask them why the money wasn't deposited. Needless to say, I will NOT be returning to Pignataro Volkswagon for ANY vehicle, ever, and I would strongly advise against anyone else's doing so. More
I walked into Pignataro VW dealership just to look at the new Passat. My salesman was Jeff. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He let me take a car for a test drive and answered all my questions about t new Passat. My salesman was Jeff. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He let me take a car for a test drive and answered all my questions about the car and it's bells and whistles. He made me a very good offer for the car and I bought the car. I love a dealer who is no pressure! I took the car back a few days later to have an accessory put on and everyone was so nice and friendly. They went above and beyond my expectations. I would send any one of my friends who is looking for a Volkswagen (or any car for that matter) to see the wonderful staff at Pignataro. They were so great that we are going to get our daughters car there too. More

WHEN I RAN OUT OF THE BUILDING AND WAS TRYING TO REGAIN COMPOSURE SO THAT I COULD DRIVE AWAY I WITNESSED A FLOCK OF SALES MEN STARING OUT THE WINDOW LAUGHING AT ME. I purchased my 2005 2.5L Jetta just under 3 years ago. I have had nothing but problems. 11 times within the first 6 months of purchase (all ranging from minor to major including all the cylinders needing r have had nothing but problems. 11 times within the first 6 months of purchase (all ranging from minor to major including all the cylinders needing replaced). Again at 55K miles (Serpentine Belt) and then again at 90K miles (Electrical) and now at 104k miles (Needs new Transmission and more!). The words from my mechanic (really shows how honest he is cause every mechanic is looking to make a buck or two off of repairs) "I don't recommend repairing it, there are more problems then just the transmission and it is only going to fail again, shortly). This is what my diagnosis stated "The current mileage is low for the kind of failure diagnosed. As noted there is extensive work of an expensive nature that needs to be done, and it is highly probable that this failure in process began well before customer purchased the vehicle and may have been masked or at least attenuated to the degree that it would not be obvious to the consumer. The malfunctions in the transmission are intermittent and may have been easily missed by the average driver. Because the transmission system is sealed, the burnt contaminated condition of the transmission fluid would not be available to even a average mechanic, and the check engine light may have been off if any active codes were erased before vehicle was sold. In conclusion it is difficult to accept that the seller of this vehicle was unaware of the transmission problems when the car was sold." Just the idea that they knowingly sold me the car with a BAD TRANSMISSION only shows they are the cheap "make a buck" salesmen with no integrity. Not to mention when I brought the vehicle to their repair shop on the 90k repair, I spent over $1000 just on diagnosis, 1+ weeks in the shop with no rental, and they still couldn't find the problem. I pulled the car out and brought it to another mechanic which cost me half as much and had it repaired in 2 days! So what should have cost me $400-$500 cost me $1495.00...... I am currently in the process of talking with someone between, Pignataro VW, VW Credit and VW of America and they are all sending me in circles back to one another. Sick to my stomach, I really am........ More
We brought our beloved '05 Jetta in for an oil change and ended up leaving with a brand new 2012 Jetta that we love. Eric in Service was our first contact and he was awesome. He answered ALL of my questions over the phone and built up the rapport I required to make the next step to bring our car in for the first time. Raj was FANTASTIC and set us at ease. He took care of us every step of the way and we feel GREAT about our whole experience. We ate lunch with the employees and everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome...even when we were eating their food. WE WILL DEFINITELY SEND OUR FAMILY TO PIGNATARO, RAJ, Lonnie and Eric! More
