This dealership should be boycotted! Went into Rairdon's VW dealership Sunday Sept 7 test driving the Atlas SE that was offered for $31,495 after 2 discounts. Sat down to purchase car Went into Rairdon's VW dealership Sunday Sept 7 test driving the Atlas SE that was offered for $31,495 after 2 discounts. Sat down to purchase car, and suddenly one of the discounts is conveniently missing ($3500 Customer Bonus) and my trade-in value of my 21 Tiguan R-line in mint condition of $24,000 (established by KBB.com) is reduced to $12,000. The entire proposal is padded with Thousands of Dollars of service contracts, "appearance" nonsense and other fees, but the 50% reduction of my trade-in value was the absolute insult. These people hope you don't know your car value and try to cheat you! I EVEN WARNED THE SALESMANAGER DURING THE TEST DRIVE NOT PULL NONSENSE WITH THE TRADE-IN VALUE! WENT RIGHT OVER HIS HEAD! Then the sales manager circumvents this unethical behavior by texting: "I am sorry you feel our 10,000 off on the brand new Atlas and the Trade in Value wasn't what you had hoped for overall to have been OTD (Out The Door) at at 29K on a $41,930 vehicle", followed by "No problem sir, while we try our best, not everyone will see the value we are giving customers towards new purchase". Where is the value when the dealer is trying to deceive you by $12,000 with your trade in??? if you can't sell the car at $31,498, DON"T ADVERTISE IT TO DRAG PEOPLE INTO THE DOOR! I called a previous VW salesperson having worked there, and was told, literally all salespeople including the General Manager!! quit after Reardon bought the dealership from Pignataro due to unethical behavior towards customers and demands on employees. Let that sink in for a moment. Note to Reardon: Don't bother to respond. Your shallow lines are nothing but sales talk. Find additional reviews on Yelp and Google. You are the prime examples why dealerships have such a bad reputation. Shame on the entire Rairdon organization for encouraging and promoting such behavior. I have also called VW Consumer Affairs and opened a ticket! More
Bought the vehicle under Pignataro and had good service from them. They changed hands to Rairdon a few months back. Had some customer service issues that I discussed with the new GM/Owner. No real follo from them. They changed hands to Rairdon a few months back. Had some customer service issues that I discussed with the new GM/Owner. No real follow up or resolution. Had the 40K service e done there as well. Thought I needed an oil change so I called but no availability. Called another dealer and was in and out in under 45 min. Noticed the sticker had 5k and 6mo to the next change. I called Rairdon and apparently the sticker in the car had told me 3K or 3mo so I prematurely spent $140. I called Rairdon and basically nothing other a sorry. I feel scammed but somewhat to blame for not checking first. I will avoid the Rairdon dealers as much as I can. Bummer as I have three vehicles and they service and sell all of them. The reviews on this site look like they are all under the last ownership so do your research before you utilize thier services or products. More
Service techs were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They went the extra mile to provide top flight service. My reduced rating is based on making an appointment several weeks prior to service, dropping off the car as scheduled and subsequently learning the part had not yet been delivered. Poor logistical planning on someone’s part? More
